Lap No60 The German supporters get to their feet at the Nurburgring, as the home-hero Michael Schumacher stamps Ferrari's return to title contention with back-to-back victories in Europe, clearly ending Renault's domination over the early part of the 2006 season. Alonso, though disappointed with second place - will be happy at being able to collect eight points here, as he did at Imola two weeks ago. Massa, having fought off the Raikkonen challenge for third place, makes it a double-podium for Ferrari, registering his first career podium spot in the bargain. It was a sensational race to say the least! The Championship is now wide open and with 13 races to go, there are several drivers and teams emerging as strong hopefuls for motor sport's crowning glory.


Lap No59 The home-hero, Michael Schumacher is out in front and just over a lap away from registering his 86th Grand Prix victory… Alonso is being trailed by Massa and Raikkonen. They will have to lap Trulli before the flag goes down. We're headed for a classic finish at the Nurburgring. Raikkonen is right up with Massa…


Lap No58 Alonso is being caught up by Massa and Raikkonen… It is turning out to be a three-way-battle for the final two podium spots. Schumacher meanwhile, is out in front and looking good to record his fourth victory at the Nurburgring. 2 laps to go…


Lap No57 Schumacher is heading for consecutive GP victories… Only three and a half laps to go… Rosberg is all over the back of Fisichella's Renault… Will he make a move on the Italian for sixth place? Massa and Raikkonen are closing in on Alonso.


Lap No56 Nine retirements so far!!! Only 13 cars running the closing laps of this European Grand Prix. Schumacher is heading for a stunning victory at the Nurburgring. Alonso trails the former Champ by 7.3 seconds. Raikkonen is now only a second off third-placed Massa… This is the battle for the final podium place.


Lap No55 Montoya was right on the tail of Rosberg… but he seems to have pulled off track with some mechanical failure! Ralf Schumacher's Toyota is also coasting… Villeneuve has moved into the points as a result!


Lap No54 Under two seconds separate the battle for fifth place with Barrichello holding up Ralf Schumacher, Fisichella and Rosberg. At the head of the field, its Schumacher in front of Alonso by over 8 seconds. The gap remains constant between Massa and Raikkonen!


Lap No53 Alonso has upped his pace a bit, but he isn't going to catch up with Schumacher's lead Ferrari… Massa in third is 2.8 seconds adrift of Alonso's Renault with Raikkonen's McLaren just 2 seconds behind. 7 laps to go…


Lap No52 Schumacher leads Alonso by over 9 seconds! Massa, in the second Ferrari could make it a double podium place for the team, unless Raikkonen manages to find a way past the Brazilian.


Lap No51 Rosberg pits… And he emerges out on track ahead of Montoya's McLaren! The Colombian will not be pleased with that… Three Germans are currently heading for points. Most importantly… Schumacher is heading for victory! Under 10 laps to go…


Lap No50 Montoya pits from fifth place. Rosberg takes the place as the young German sets his personal best lap-time of the race. However, Williams mechanics are in the pits!


Lap No49 Montoya sets his personal best lap-time of the race. Rosberg is running sixth, only 2 seconds off the Colombian's McLaren. Massa in third, is being caught up by Raikkonen's McLaren.


Lap No48 Montoya and Rosberg are running fifth and sixth - but stopped only once during this race. Sato heads down pit-lane for the third time in the race. He is running 16th and last, and in fact - adds to the retirement list as he drives his Super Aguri straight into the garage.


Lap No47 Meanwhile, out at the front… Michael Schumacher seems to be in control of this race at the Nurburgring…. He leads Championship leader, Alonso by 7.7 seconds. Massa is running third, with Raikkonen chasing the Ferrari for the final podium place. Heidfeld pits in his BMW Sauber.


Lap No46 Barrichello and R.Schumacher head down the pit lane… But Villeneuve and Fisichella come in tail-to-nose for their second pit stops. These two have been at it all race. In fact, they had confrontation during qualifying on Saturday as well…


Lap No45 Monteiro pits this time round. Raikkonen leads Schumacher on track - by 4.7 seconds. Alonso is a further 7 seconds adrift. The Renault doesn't seem to be handling as well as it did earlier in the race. Trulli pits. As does Speed… Raikkonen dives into the pits from the interim race-lead…


Lap No44 Raikkonen in the race-lead, sets his personal best-lap time of the race. Albers pits in the Midland F1 car. Sato is in the pits as well…


Lap No43 Brilliant strategy from Ferrari! What a drive from Michael Schumacher on his home circuit… 17 laps to go after this one… Raikkonen leads this race, but will have to make another stop for fuel before the finish.


Lap No42 Schumacher's last lap was over a second and a half quicker than Alonso's… The Ferrari mechanics stay out in the pits… Schumacher is stationary for 6.8 seconds. Awesome stuff from Team Ferrari… The German emerges out on track ahead of Alonso's Renault. The fans at the Nurburgring go ballistic!!!


Lap No41 The Ferrari crew now emerge in the pit-lane… But Schumacher stays out on track. Massa comes in from second place. Raikkonen moves up a place, while Alonso is now third.


Lap No40 The new race-leader, Michael Schumacher seems to be flying… The former seven time Champion is on a real charge… Another fastest lap from the German ace - 1:32.099. Sensational lap! Alonso is running fourth following his second pit stop!


Lap No39 Alonso dives into the pits to hand the race-lead over to Schumacher. Meanwhile, the Ferrari has set another fastest lap - 1:32.420 And flies across the line to put in yet another fastest first sector time.


Lap No38 A quickest sector time from Alonso - but its second placed Schumacher that sets another fastest lap - 1:32.523 Renault mechanics are in the pit-lane…


Lap No37 Sensational lap from Alonso… The fastest of the race, thus far - 1:32.722 But Schumacher, on the very same lap - goes even quicker to set a time of 1:32.544 Fisichella and Montoya still trail the BMW of former World Champion Villeneuve.


Lap No36 Alonso has opened up a bit of a gap to Schumacher's Ferrari, but it isn't quite enough. Just 1.4 seconds currently separate the duo. Michael Schumacher now responds with a fastest second sector time…

Lap No34 Rosberg finally pits from fifth place… Quick stop from Williams. They don't seem to have fuelled him to the finish. He emerges out on track ahead of Trulli… That would give him 10th place - but he might need to stop again!


Lap No33 Almost 33 laps completed… Rosberg has still not stopped during the race. However, Williams mechanics are in the pit-lane… Webber has retired, so surely the rookie should be in on the next lap!


Lap No32 Montagny's race debut has come to an end as a result of another blown Honda engine. That's two in two laps… Schumacher is closing in on race-leader Alonso. The gap is down in 0.6 seconds.


Lap No31 Just past the half distance mark… Alonso leads by over 1.2 seconds. Schumacher in second, is 4.4 seconds ahead of team-mate Massa. Rosberg stays out on track in fifth place. The German has yet to make a stop…


Lap No30 Button's Honda seems to be smoking… Disaster for the Japanese constructor. Disaster for the British driver, who was looking to pick up valuable points here today. Yellow flags wave… Villeneuve, Fisichella and Montoya are locked in the battle for eighth place. Another car is cruising… It's Klien! Both Red Bulls have now retired…


Lap No29 At the head of the field… Alonso leads Michael Schumacher by 1.2 seconds. Ralf Schumacher pits from fifth place. All drivers with the exception of Rosberg, who started dead last - have completed their first stop of the race.


Lap No28 Montoya is in the pits… Did he get enough fuel to take him to the finish? Bad news for the Colombian… He comes out on track just behind Fisichella's Renault.


Lap No27 Renault mechanics are ready to call Fisichella in… The Italian dives in from P7. He gets some front wing adjustment, fresh set of tyres and plenty of fuel. McLaren now prepare for a stop… Montoya should be in shortly!


Lap No26 Monteiro and Sato pit from the tail of the field. Trulli's Toyota also comes in from eighth place. Montoya, Fisichella and Ralf Schumacher are currently running in the points, but have not yet stopped!


Lap No25 Alonso extends his advantage over Schumacher to over 2 seconds. Massa is a further 2.7 seconds behind his Ferrari team-mate. Raikkonen is back into fourth place after his stop. He is under 5 seconds down on Massa.


Lap No24 Raikkonen pits from the race-lead… Alonso will now re-assume the lead of this European Grand Prix, with Michael Schumacher less than a second adrift of the Renault. Speed is in the pits as well.


Lap No23 Button exits the pits… Villeneuve is also in for his first scheduled stop. Klien now heads down the pit-lane in the lone running Red Bull Racing car. Raikkonen leads Alonso by 12.6 seconds, but is lapping much quicker than the Renault and the Ferrari in second and third. Heidfeld is in and out of the pits. Albers pits as well… The three retirements are: Webber, Coulthard and Liuzzi.


Lap No22 Alonso and Schumacher are right up with Button's second placed Honda. But the Briton is ahead of them on track and will not let them pass easily. All this is playing into Raikkonen's hands! However, Honda mechanics are out in the pits… Button dives in. Renault and Ferrari will be pleased to see that!


Lap No21 A third of this race is complete. 19 cars are still running! Raikkonen leads Button by 10 seconds. Both drivers have not yet stopped. Alonso is third, Schumacher fourth and Massa fifth. Barrichello heads down the pit-lane.


Lap No20 Michael Schumacher is back out on track, but Alonso has retained his advantage. Raikkonen now leads this race… The Top 3 starters have been the only cars to have completed their first scheduled stop of the race.


Lap No19 New race-leader, Michael Schumacher sets the fastest first sector time. Alonso re-joins in fourth place. Massa re-joins behind Trulli, but ahead of compatriot, Barrichello. Ferrari mechanics are in the pit lane. Schumacher will dive in at the end of this one…


Lap No18 Alonso pits from the race-lead… Massa follows the Renault in… Schumacher now leads. Raikkonen is up into second. Button is third.


Lap No17 Michael Schumacher sets a scorching lap - 1:32.794 to cut Alonso's lead to a mere 0.6 seconds. Renault mechanics are in the pit lane…


Lap No16 We're just past a quarter distance of this European Grand Prix… Alonso leads by a second, but Michael Schumacher is flying on this current lap!


Lap No15 Yellow flags are being waved… Perhaps for Webber's Williams to be cleared. The BMW mechanics are in the pit lane. And appear to be frantically working with the fuel rig.


Lap No14 Alonso marginally stretches his lead, but both Ferraris keep the Renault's advantage in check! Montoya seems frustrated at not being able to find a way past Heidfeld's BMW. The German makes a mistake, but the Colombian still can't get ninth place.


Lap No13 The gap stays stable at the head of the field. Alonso still leads Schumacher by less than a second. Webber seems to be in trouble… He drives across the grass in the Williams car.


Lap No12 Two and a half seconds separate the top three: 1.Alonso 2.M.Schumacher 3.Massa Raikkonen is almost 4 seconds off Massa's Ferrari. McLaren, are perhaps running on a heavy fuel load. Sato runs wide as Albers challenges him for 18th place. The Dutchman makes the place on the experienced Japanese driver.


Lap No11 Montoya still can't seem to find a way past Heidfeld as they fight for ninth place. Its a battle vs BMW and Mercedes power at what is a home-track for both auto giants. Fisichella seems to be catching up with the two, ahead of his Renault.


Lap No10 Fastest first sector time from Schumacher. He goes fastest in the second intermediate too. He takes over the reigns over the fastest lap with a time of 1:33.066. The gap to Alonso is now down to 0.8 seconds.


Lap No9 20 cars still running. The two retirements are: Liuzzi and Coulthard. Montagny, on his race debut is currently running last. Meanwhile, at the other end of the field, Alonso sets another storming lap - 1:33.210


Lap No8 Another fastest lap from race-leader Alonso… The Spaniard's last lap was 1:33.339. He now leads this race and Schumacher's Ferrari by just over a second. Massa is a further adrift of his team-mate.


Lap No7 Alonso takes over the fastest lap of the race as he clocks 1:33.493 on the previous lap. Montoya is all over the tail of Heidfeld's BMW. The German is holding up the Colombian for ninth place. Fastest second sector time from race-leader Alonso!


Lap No6 Michael Schumacher responds with a fastest lap. He trails Alonso's Renault by 0.6 seconds. The duo are opening up a gap to Massa's third placed Ferrari.


Lap No5 Both McLarens are on the move… Raikkonen passes Button for fourth place! Montoya makes a brave move on Fisichella's Renault to move into the Top 10. Alonso is the fastest man on track. He leads Schumacher's Ferrari and this European Grand Prix by just over half a second.


Lap No4 The safety car returns to the pits… We're back up to racing pace at the Nurburgring! Alonso flies across the line. Followed by: M.Schumacher, Massa, Button, Raikkonen, Trulli, Barrichello and Villeneuve. Coulthard seems to be in trouble. Perhaps the damage aboard the Red Bull was too much for repair! The Scot's race is over…


Lap No3 Barrichello was the biggest loser at the start… He lost three places, having started fourth. His other team-mate Button has made two places and is now fourth, ahead of Raikkonen's McLaren. At the head of the field, its Alonso ahead of the two Ferraris with the safety car still showing them the way around the Nurburgring.


Lap No2 Liuzzi has spun and remains stationary in the middle of the track! The safety car will surely make its way out… Coulthard limps into the pits…


Lap No1 The five red lights go off at the Nurburgring to signal the start of the 60-lap European Grand Prix… Alonso's Renault shoots into the lead from Pole Position! The two Ferraris go wheel-to-wheel… Good start from Raikkonen, but both the Hondas are fighting the McLaren hard for fourth place. Liuzzi is limping around the track. He might have made contact with Coulthard's Red Bull!

The weekend gone by.......

FRIDAY::::::::

Well friday was supposed to be a busy day as I had agreed to take B4D along wid me to meet a frnd(gal) of his @ ISPAHANI PLAZA by 17:30 hrs......I attended coll...There seems we had only an hr of the lab session coz there was some seminar on PERCEPTION MANAGEMENT arranged by the SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING of our coll.....
SO all d plans of havin a repeat lab was spoiled......Attended the seminar and returned home @ around 17:10hrs........Was 10 mins late......Callled up B4D and asked him to be ready in 3 mins sharp.......
Went had a splash and dash shower(Just lk a FORMULA-1 PIT STOP) and then took my bike and went to his shop.......
Reached there @ 17:15hrs......
Well I had 10 mins to reach ISPAHANI PLAZA......I speeded down ANNA SALAI via GUINDY,SAIDAPET,NANDANAM/TEYNAMPET.....
There were a couple of close calls and overtakes which anyone else other than B4D wud have caused me to fall.....But he's such a gr8 guy to have riding pillion coz he never gives u the shakes most pillion riders give wen the bike tilts from side to side.......
IMAGINE AN AUTORICKSHAW 10m AHEAD AND A MAHINDRA SCORPIO NEXT TO YOU.......I WAS OVERTAKIN THE SCORPIO AND WAS ALMOST THRU....BUT THEN THE AUTORICKSHAW HAD OTHER PLANS AND BRAKED.....I HAD 2 OPTIONS....BRAKE HARD OR PRESS THE ACCELERATOR...I OPTED FOR THE LATTER.....MY PILLION WASN'T AWARE OF THE SITUATION....AND JUS WEN MY BIKE WENT THRU, OUR MAN LETS A SOUND ASKIN WY I DID THAT THING.......i TOLD HIM IF i HADN'T DONE THAT, WE WERE GONNERS.......THEN HE ASKS ME TO SLOW DOWN.....AND I FOLLOW THE CAPTAIN'S ORDERS......SLOW DOWN BY 5KMPH....
THEN ANOTHER INCIDENT WHERE WE NEARLY MISSED A GUY WHO WAS TAKIN OFF @ D SIGNAL...HE WAS SHAKIN IN D MIDDLE OF THE ROAD EVEN WHEN HIS BIKE WAS STRANDED.....HE WAVERED FROM SIDE TO SIDE AND MY BRAKIN SAVED US THIS TIME....
Then we reached the place 15mins late @ 17:35 hrs.....
Went and met the gal and returned to SATI's house @ 19:30hrs.......Spoke wid him for an hour and left home......
Then I had some THERMAL LAB observation calculations to complete so I was bz doin em.......till around 01:00 hrs the next day.....

SATURDAY::::::::

Gave my bike for servicin @ a local service center near my household @ arnd 10:00 hrs and took my sist along to bring me bak from there......There was nothin much scheduled for the rest of the day except a meet wid B4D & SATI @ the former's shop....As it turns out everytime, there is somethin or the other that delays proceedings.....And so was the case this week....
B4D had some work to do and so the meet was postponed to 19:00 hrs....I went to take my bike bak from service and that cost me around 200.Rs to get the oil replaced and a general routine check-up.....
Then I filled her up wid gas and went to the temple as it was a SATURDAY.......
Only then I realised that I was devoid of any money in my purse and was nearly bankrupt.......So I returned home and took some money and proceeded to B4D's shop......But he still hadn't finished his work and returned.....SO I had to wait for about 30mins and then I called up SATI who was also late.......The we both walked down the road coz we were bored to the core.....Then came our man, as if he were pedallin his way to glory after the TOUR DE' CHANCE.......:-P
Then asked him to sit bhind me and then took him to a gas-fillin station coz SATI wanted to fill up his dad's bike.....
Then we had some snacks @ d chota restaurant there in d bunk and returned to B4D's shop @ 20:30 hrs.....Dropped B4D and came bak home @ 21:30 hrs...........

SUNDAY:::::::::

Well my coll frnz had planned to play beach cricket in d mornin and so I went to the beach @ 07:00hrs and we played for 3hrs......
Had nothin much to offer to the team but a sensational catch( as my frnz termed it) @ short-mid-wicket....
Then returned home, had some sleep and then went to see off B4D.......
Returned home and went out to a dinner wid my family.....
Returned home @ 22:30 hrs and dozed offf...........

A Superb extended weeekend

Well the weekend was a gr8 one….

SATURDAY::::::::::

Both BAKU and GOR had come here to take their new TVS APACHE bikes bak to their towns of CHIDAMBARAM AND KOVILPATTI respectively……Saturday jus passed like it was a fraction of a second……

I went to the temple wid SATI and GOR and then from there to buy a backpack for GOR….We finished off the purchasin work in abt 20-30 mins and then called BAKU up enquirin abt his whereabouts………He told that he was bak home and so we arranged a meetin wid him @ his residence……….

We had some road-side snacks and then went to BAKU's house @ around 1930hrs……SATI had demanded a treat from BAKU for his b'dae which had just passed…….SO we went to HOTEL ORION, a nearby restaurant and had our dinner courtesy BAKU…….Man SATI jus gulped down his food like it was jus a glass of water b4 I cud even think about goin in for my share…….(Well jus an exaggerated description…Although he did eat faster than me jus like he normally does….Am a very slow eater…)

Our dinner got over by 2130hrs….Then proceeeded to BAKU's house and chatted wid BAKU for an hour or more…….Then met wid MER akka and then collected my DVDs from BAKU and proceeded to my house @ 2230hrs……I reached home @ 2245 and then slept off……..

SUNDAY::::::::

Sunday was even more enjoyable as we were to meet up wid our own THALA Mr.B4D……..He came down the BAKU's house @ 1300hrs and we had some good quality fun wid him till 1400hrs and then GOR,SATI,B4D & I proceeded to SPENCERS PLAZA…..Over there,we had our lunch @ PLANET YUMM(A food court)…….Then GOR was to leave for KOVILPATTI @ 1815hrs……..SO he left @ around 1630hrs to get ready for departing……Even B4D was to go somewhere outside wid his parents……..So I dropped B4D near SATI's house and returned home……

BAKU called me up as sooon as I reached home and told that he required a small help from me……He was to attend his friend's elder sister's marriage @ RAJA MUTTHIAH hall in d evenin @ around 1800hrs…..And the problem was that he didn't have a mode of transport……So he asked me whether I cud drop him @ the hall…….I agreed and asked as to where I should report…….He asked me to come to his house immdtly…..

So I went to his house in 15mins and then left for the marriage……We were to get a bouquet for the marriage function…..But then plans never stay intact everytime……..There's always a twist in the tale for such events….And so it was the case here tooo……We had to go to one of BAKU's friend's place in KILPAUK….So we proceeded there and sat down there for sometime b4 leavin for the marriage…..

En route to the marriage hall, we stopped midway to get a bouquet….We got it done in quick time and then went to the hall……over there I met up wid several of BAKU's friends, all of whom were gr8 to hangout wid…….So enjoyed their company out there………Had dinner and dropped BAKU @ his residence @ around 2100hrs and returned bak home…..BAKU was also leavin to CHIDAMBARAM that night……..Then I sat down to complete some record work……..I was writing and writin and writin till 0100hrs the next day…..Slept @ around 0130 hrs……

MONDAY:::::::::

I got up @ around 0900hrs right on time for the first ball of the clash between INDIA & ENGLAND…..

Welll I had already decided that I had to finish some of my record work and so bunked college……..I planned to complete the thermal record and try to complete the observation as well but it wasn't to be……..There was the INDIA-ENGLAND clash going on @ GOA….

I could finish the record only…….But thats better than doin nothin…….SO then in the evenin, went to B4D's house and then from there to SATI's house to chat wid em…….Returned home @ around 2000hrs……

Then from then on been browsin widout any purpose………

Will b crashin anytime in 20mins……..

THERMAL TRAGEDY

We had to submit the completed observations for the 1st 6 expts in the thermal lab to Mr.JCV by tuesday.....
So I had spent almost all of my weekend writin the observation and record........
Then it was tuesday.......Time to rok........
So we went as a bunch to see him and get it corrected........
SARO went in first wid me standin near to him as we both belonged to the same batch.......
The first 3 expts were given a green light.......
The 4th one was the RETARDATION TEST ON SLOW SPEED DIESEL ENGINES.......
We had achieved a 18% efficiency from our calculations which according to me had a 0% accuracy.....Here goes the convo.......

Well there was this graph for the MORSE test and I presumed they had to be joined using the scale......But it wasn't to be.......He cud have told me to draw it free-handedly.Instead he goes on and draws it wid his red pen right over my graph.......DUMBO......
And I finally managed to get the obse corrected..........By then 1hr30mins had whizzed past me....

And this guy comes for class and his pronunciation is horrible........
He says TUBE as TEBE.....Man aweful experiences.......

MICROPROCESSORS ROKZ........

Well, my MICROPROCESSORS lab is bcomin more interestin and enthrallin by the day.......
This week, we programmed a 8085 processor to perform simple actions like adding,subtractin, multiplyin,dividing,searchin,sorting, using it as a clock, using the keyboard input pre-set program......
The programming part is the most interestin of em alll.....
Coz the lab demands more brain than brawn......
But most of d guys jus hv d brains to get to another guy who does all the hard work to get the program stick and copy his program widout knowin wat does wat.....
Dumbers to the core.......IDIOTS of the zeroth order.......
Atleast some effort could be put in so as to learn how the program works and then copy down the program so that the program wud atleast stick in his memory if it cudn't be made to stick on the microprocessor kit........
This act simply makes my senses and cool go haywire and I shout out at em sometimes only to be asked wy are u shoutin......Can't u b cool.....
Man that was a program written using my brains.....Wy don't u go put urz to use.......
And that guy comes up with a reply that he's usin his better by copyin from mine so that energy cud b saved.....Yuck wat a conception...........
Brains are never like the mechanical components.........The more you use the brain, more is the holding and grasping capacity of the brain..........
Nobody seems to have understood this except a few souls in my dept.......
As far as I'm concerned, ALL I CAN DO IS ASK EM NOT TO COPY IT DOWN BLINDLY......
All else is left to them..........
May the devil be wid them.......And some guys have the guz to scrape thru by copyin from his neighbour's paper.............
Well we got an assignment in the lab to be submitted by next week........
We gotta write a mnemonic to accept two 8-bit data as keyboard inputs and add them wid carry and show them in the address field of the display.......
I'm almost done wid the logic.......
Only the mnemonic writing part is left.......
I will b completin it durin the course of the weekend..............

THE CAT WEEK

Well the CATS passed on smoother than last time coz there wasn't a paper where I had done badly.....
I had given a somethin in everything.....
I performed so that I get above 75% in all.........
I recieved my MATH and MICROPROCESSORS papers and I secured 39 & 24 respectively outta 40........
Was satisfied wid ma MATH performance and as for MICROPROCESSORS, I wasn't there in class wen the programmin part was thought so I didn't do it properly.......
So no hard feelings.........
Then finshed my KINEMATICS exam 2day and I did resonably well........
Then my bus mates and I decided to chill out in d evenin by playin POOL at POWER SHOT....
So GATY,MIKE, SAB and I went there to play pool.......
I returned home @ 2130hrs and now am chkin my mailboxes for any important mails..........

Well the saturday and sunday jus rushed.........
BAKU called me up in d mornin to chk if I was free coz he wanted to go chk out how much his old 2004 PULSAR 1800 DTSi wud fetch him.......
He had decided to buy a new TVS APACHE which is an awesome performer.......
I agreed to it immdtly.......BAKU came @ around 1030 to my house and he dropped his key into the lift gap.....SO we got held up for some time tryin to retrieve the key from the bottom of the life room.......
Then we started off to RAMKAY TVS and chkd out the APACHE>...
He test drove the APACHE and was satisfied wid it....
Meanwhile, he had asked for a valuation of his bike's market price....
Being SECOND OWNER made the prices fall by a 3000-4000.Rs to 24,000.Rs.......
We had expected a 30,000+ price tag for the old bike......
But then we weren't gonna give it right there until we consulted other places and dealers........
SO we drove down to the HONDA showroom to get a quotation for the HONDA DIO for my sister.......
From there, we proceeded to K.K.Nagar and then to ASHOK NAGAR.........
We chkd out 2 dealers, both of whom told that the maximum tag was 24,000.Rs.......
Then BAKU had some problem on his mob to be rectified so we went to the nearest NOKIA PRIORITY center and asked for a solution....
He asked us to travel to ANNA SALAI to get it done......
SO we went to ANNA SALAI from there and entered the PRIORITY shop over there only to find about 20-30 people already awaitin their turns........
So we decided to leave coz it was time for BAKU to get his LAUNDRY from the CLEANERS.......
SO we rode down quick(APPROX 100kmph) down ANNA SALAI and I reached home in ten mins.......
Then had planned an outin wid SATI in d evenin.....
Went @ 1730 to pick SATI up and then proceeded to the temple.....
Then from there, we went to BESI where I told some of my inner feelings to him.......
He's the only one whom I can pour all my feelings(sad or happy).....
He listens to em patiently......
Got some soothin effect.....
Then left @ 2030 to KB and had dinner there and returned home @
2200hrs.........
Then slept off.........B/w SATI and I had planned for a movie the following day @ UDHAYAM which eventually flopped coz of inavailability of tix.......
Then from there we went to my house to get money for buyin a blanket for my gran BOM and then went to get the blanket.......
By then my vehicle had done around 100kms in a day.......
Then lept the blanket @ home and went to get a blank cd box and a CD album and an optical mouse for my system........
Got all the three for a meagre 1100......
The LOGITECH mouse costing just 395.Rs.............
Then kept these stuff @ home and went to BESI again wid SATI.....
SATI's frnz were scheduled to join us there........
They did join us and then I spent a kewl 2 hrs there.....
Then we were supposed to be wid BAKU for his b'dae treat.......
But then he hadn't contacted us as he had told us........
So we called him up to chk up wat was up wid him.......
Then he told that he was held up coz he had to take his mom to the dentist and so the plan was dropped......
I had just then realised that I had a CAT exam happenin on MONDAY and that I hadn't as yet touched the book..........
SO I decided to return home and do the studyin work.......
And so I did.......
I studied for around 2hrs and slept off..................

Xloring TRIVANDRUm

DAY 1:
I arrived down there wid my MOM and chweet SIS......
From there we went to my DAD's office and then to his house near INJAKKAL......
The roads were narrow and everyone was walkin right down the middle of the road wid no fear of the oncoming vehicle hittin them......
Then from there, we went to PADMANABHA SWAMY temple and VARAHARA SWAMY temple.......
The temples were really gr8........The orderliness is simply awesome.....
Then went to the retiring room where we refreshed ourselves and went to HOTEL LEELA @ KOVALAM.....
The hotel was really kewl and gr8.......The food was awesome....
And the scenic beauty was really really wonderful..Even in the nite, the location looked awesome....More so bcoz we ate in d open near the sea.......
The coast-line was awesome and the moonlight beautified it further.......
Then from there we returned bak to our rooms @ 11 and I saw some cricket matches on TV till 0045hrs and slept.......

DAY 2:::

De day started off wid us going to a GANAPATHY temple and we had breakfast @ a well known tamil restaurant named AARIYA NIVAS which my DAD frequents.......
Then from there, we went back to our rooms to pack stuff for our stay @ KOVALAM over the nite @ HOTEL SEA FACE........
I was drivin the SAIL after a long time and the ride was quite enjoyable.......I got a few videos also on my comp.....
It was supposed to be PONGALA festival in town and so my DAD told it was better to be away from the town than to suffer inside the houses.........
Then I drove down to KOVALAM and the backwaters en route were kewl....
Then we checked-in @ the hotel and took some rest.......
Then in d evenin, went to the beach and thoroughly enjoyed the scenic beauty.......The sunset(pic:right) was the highlight.........
Then went bak to the room and saw the GREATEST CRICKET MATCH OF ALL TIME and the FORMULA 1 race simultaneously.....
Then wen it darkened, went down to the beach to have a walk before dinner...........
Had dinner @ the hotel itself and went to bed after watchin some old cricket matches and wonderful knocks of THE WALL.....

DAY 3::::
Woke up late and the day was supposed to be a rest day.......
So I watched TV whole day and was at my lethargic best.......:-D
Then we had to ckeck-out from the hotel @ 1600hrs.......
SO we vacated the room and headed bak to the RETIRING ROOM @ the AIRPORT.....
The crowd that attended the PONGALA festival was returning and there was traffic all the way to the AIRPORT......
Then from the AIRPORT, we went to SANGU MUGAM BEACH located near the AIRPORT and then to TRIVANDRUM CITY to have a look.......
We went round the CITY which was supposedly havin 7kms perimeter.......
Then from there, we went to HOTEL MUTHOOT PLAZA, one of the finest hotels in TRIVANDRUM and iz BUFFET was claimed to be the best in the CITY......
The hype didn't go in vain and the food was awesome.......
The salad section was also good......
But of all, the FRITTERS that were served was the best of the lot.....
It was BINDHI(LADIES FINGER) encapsuled in a dough and fried golden brown......

Then left the hotel for the room......
Had a nice sleep earlier than the other 2 days bcoz I was tired.......

DAY 4:::::

Got up late and watched MATRIX : RELOADED......
I hadn't watched MATRIX as yet but I wanted to see it........
the movie was awesome.....
it ended @ 915 and I had to catch a flight @ 1205hrs.......
Then had bath and left for my DAD's office.......
Went and sat down there for sometime and returned......
Dazz wen disaster strcuk........
Wasn't my day after all......
I usually take the stairs down......
So I was climbing down the stairs.....
The stairs were smooth and slippery......I knew I cud slip anytime and climbed down wid more caution.....
But that wasn't enuf.....My left leg slipped and my knee hit the stairs.......
Ouch.....I tumbeld down wid my left knee hittin the next 5 stairs........
And it pained a lot........Already have a bad left knee due to the accident exactly 3 months back....
But I had to bear the pain.....
Then went to the room in pain......My MOM took me down to the AIRPORT DOCTOR who attended to me and gave a ICE MASSAGE and a sprain-reliever spray........
A few tablets were prescribed and a gel was also given to be applied on the knee.....
It still pained and was bearable........
I was able to fold my leg and I was satisfied wid that.......
Then took the baggage and went to baord the flight.......
We sat in the VIP LOUNGE while our boarding cards were being readied.......
The lounge was very well furnished and the artefacts were really kewl..........
The ganesha statue in picture is no ordinary ganesha statue.....
It is made up of SANDALWOOD and costs a whopping 1,75,000.Rs
The stay in TRIVANDRUM was gr8 in short.......
And the maintanence & cleanliness of public roads were simply astonishing.......

Mind you, the roads were cleaned up in 2 hrs after the PONGALA festival got over....There were ashes lying all around the city and it was cleaned up and watered in 2 hrs flat......
Man we need some sorta involvement down here in CHENNAI to keep the places clean.....
The public do not help much as they litter everywhere........
Time to change.....Time to become cleaner and more hygenic.......
Well I took the flight bak @ 1205 and arrived bak @ CHENNAI @ 1400hrs.....
Then went to CHI's house to pick my granny BOM up......
Then returned home @ 1600hrs and switched on comp to check for mails and messages.......

A enthralling CRICKET MATCH

Well 2day I had to be ready by 1 to take my flight to TRIVANDRUM.....
I planned to play cricket in the mornin.....
So I left home @ 6 a.m.
Met B4D and SATI and went to the playground to play cricket.....
SOme of SATI's seniors were present and more were yet to come.....
Then we started playin late bcoz there was no ball to play.....
We finished playin @ 11 and I left immediately to get bak home and had a nice bath.....
Came out @ 1130 and then had a light lunch and then had to go to HP's house to give him the money for my reval......
SO I left for his house at 1210 after packing up my stuff.....
Reached his house in MANDAVELI in 10 mins.....
Then left his house @ 1225......Rushed bak home in 9 mins approx....
Was riding @ 120kmph on the KOTTURPURAM stretch.....Adrenaline rushing thru my body I wanted to go faster but the road wasn't that long.......:-D
Then left for the AIRPORT @ 1305.....
Boarded the flight @ 1345 and then reached down in TRIVANDRUM @ 1530 hrs........

A TOTAL surprise....

The day started off miserably.....
HP and myself decided to bunk the first hour.....SO we went and settled down @ the DRAWING HALL in the MARINE BLOCK.......
Some inner thought told there wud be a inspection @ the block 2day.....
And I wasn't wrong totally....
As the period was nearing an end, HP messaged a classmate of mine askin whether the professor had left......He sent an affirmative mess......So we went to class.....I was following HP wen he suddenly took a left........
I was wondering as to why he was doing that....
Wen I walked nearer, I saw the HOD standing there along wid TVB and KPAD and TSR......
Well I had to follow HP into the toilet.....
So I followed in and another classmate joined us in sometime........
Then HP asked the guy who sent an affirmative a mess askin where he was....
He replied that he was @ home!!!!!!!!!!!!And that he jus pranked us........
Man that was close.......
HOD left the class @ 1030 and we left for the classes after TSR left the class.........
Seems the HOD arrived in class @ 930........
Phew thats a long time to be in class......And seems he was contradicting students views on the CAT & COLL timings.......
He has said that wy shud we have revisions wen u guys dont study for the CATS????? in reply to a question "WHy can't we have a revision model exam instead of a CAT 3??????"
Man has he gone mad??????????

HP and I were terrified for a moment as to wat we cud tell the HOD if and wen he asked for reasons for our absence..........
That was the only interestin matter that happened today in coll.......
And yeah, we begun our heat treatments section in the STRENGTH OF MATERIALS lab....
Well wat started as a bad FRIDAY ended wid me being asked to come down to TRIVANDRUM by my DAD who has been posted there.....
So I immediately agreed to it........
I was told it was a 1 day stay only......I didn't hesitate as I knew that the departure from there cud be delayed @ any time........
So after agreeing, I returned home and B4D had come down to CHENNAI.....
SO I went down to meet him @ his shop and from there we went to ANNA SALAI to have a look @ the APACHE>......
I had already seen it but he hadn't so I obliged.......
But,by the time we arrived @ ANNA SALAI, the showroom was closed and we returned bak to SATI's house dejected.......
Then I disclosed the news of my departure to TRIVANDRUM 2morrow to them........
Then we went and had dinner together and I returned bak home @ 930 after fixing an appointment wid SATI and B4D for playin cricket the next mornin wid SATI's seniors.......
SO then I came bak and slept off early so that i cud rise @ 6 and go to play the next morning.......

APACHE ROKZ

Man 2day, I was to meet GOR in the afternoon.....
So I did.......But we ran short of ideas of spending the time.......
We finally decided to give the new TVS APACHE a test-run.....
So we proceeded to TVS RAMKAY MOTORS in ADYAR......
Entered the showroom and the guy was benovelent enuf to ask us whether we wanted a test-drive........
Wy wud we say no.....So we took the test......
I revved the bike to the max right from the start.......
The exhaust note was awesome.......And the pick-up even better........The bike zoomed.......
I even wheelied the bike a couple of times.....
GOR who was seated at my bike was not prepared for it both times.......
The front wheel jus lifted off the ground and the vehicle was rok solid.....
I then stopped the vehicle.......
Man if u tot, I was bored drivin this beast, u were wrong.....
I was about to unleash a burst of raw speed......
I sprinted down the road and the vehicle was rooted to the ground.......
It didn't twitch even wen I braked hard.......
A reall winner in TVS' hands.....
Iz gonna be hard-time for the PULSARS and the UNICORNS.....And the advance booking for the APACHE has been growing exponentially.....
I heard that they had recd around 3000 bookings even b4 the bike was released in the market,........
I've got some fotos which I shall duly post in my FOTO BLOG.....
Then stopped near the RAJ BHAVAN TELEPHONE EXCHANGE and chatted wid GOR for 30 mins and then he left......
We didn't have such a gr8 time this time around.........
But the ride was memorable one......
Then I returned home and slept for 3 hrs.....
Got up and watched the last 5 overs of the game, and then went out to get Li batteries for my DIGITAL CALCULATOR which had been abandoned for last 2 yrs or so........
Then got back and watched some TV and now am chattin wid ma frenz and browsin....
2morrow's gonna be the start of the new week and I hope it starts wid a bang.......

Well I got up 2day @ around 730.....
Then I proceeded to give my bike a deserved wash.......
I washed my bike for an hour and bathed, and took my mobile for any new messages......
And wow, was I in for a surprise.....
I had a whopping 23 unread messages in my inbox and a missed call from MIKE.....
I called up MIKE first to check out wat was d matter......
He asked me wat happ to results.......
I was like, "Wat results?????They haven't come da.....Wat are u blabbering....."
He asked me to check up and told me it had come @ the stroke of midnite.....
Crazy burgers @ anna univ managed to screw the students plans of a gr8 weekend by releasin it...
I had my fingers crossed wen I opened the site for checkin my results up......
Man I was in for a surprise.......
I had cleared em all.......Inclusive of my arrear papers which I had carried from the 2nd sem......
Got a respectable 78% but I wasn't satisfied........I was expecting a much higher 80-85% aggregate.......
Man iz alrite until everythin has been cleared........
Was very happy and called my GRANNY first to show my results as I always do.......
Iz like a superstition for me that I show anythin of mine to my GRANNY first......I dont let anyone get a sneek into the stuff........
If it doesn't happen that way, I don't want that thing to be happening........
My GRANNY comes before EVERYTHING..........
Then it was party time........
Called MIKE up coz we had planned to attend the SSN culturals........
But surprise surprise........We didn't.Instead, we went to meet up @ SG's house and then from there we went to SPENCERS for a day out........
VIN,RSU,GOV,SHR,SG,MIKE & I went down to spencers in my KARIZMA, 2 PULSAR 180s( RSU 180 DTSi and SG's 180) & GOV's VICTOR.......
Reached SPENCERS @ 1230 and then had a nice time there till 3.......
Then from there, we proceeded to RAG's house where we had awesome fun.......
Then we all planned to go to BESI.....
But GOV played spoilsport and asked SHR and RAG to get to SG's house to get SHR's record.....
Damn it.......
And so RSU,VIN,SG,MIKE AND I went to BESI and we did have a gr8 time there tooo.......
Enjoyed and returned home by 7......
Then spoke to GOR and slept offf after chattin for 30mins.....

NO CLASSES....NOT ATTENDING....

Well the week started off slowly and wid no classes happenin either on monday or wednesday....tuesday being a holiday(Well unofficial one,but wid no attendance on that day, no one wud have gone I presume......), THURSDAY was supposed to be a bit better than the other 2 days coz we had THERMAL lab and so it was.......
But only until d lab session ended.......
After that we were left alone to do our own work.....
And on friday we were scheduled to have a record-writing class in the STRENGTH OF MATERIALS LAB....
So I decided to show the door and I didnt go to coll...
Instead, I had planned to write the record @ home....
But to the contrary, there was the INDO-ENG series going on......
So I decided to watch it for sometime b4 getting along wid ma record work....
It so turned out that the INDIANS made a hara-kiri of the match and were in deep trouble @ 322-9 @ the end of the day's play....
And young MOHD. KAIF who did the star turn for INDIA rescuing them from a bad 190-7 to a respectable 322-8 before he fell to a beauty from the SIKH, MONTY PANESAR.....
The ball pitched on or about middle and leg, gripped onto the surface and clipped the top of off-stump.....
A dream ball for any left arm spinner.......
And I slept half-way thru the match and woke up @ around 330......
Then in d evenin, I played on my comp and slept off........

CRICKET--THE GENTLEMAN'S GAME :-P

Well my coll was gonna have culturals 2day...But there was another factor involved.....
The attendance factor which was not involved this time around...
So we decided to bunk college and have a game of cricket instead....
I woke up @ around 6 and went to pik HP up @ NANDANAM @ around 645 and went down to the CORPORATION grnd near BOOM's house and everyone had already arrived.......
So we got it going wid a small warm-up session where we sent in a few chucked deliveries to the batsmen....
Then got the play going....
And man it did turn out to be gr8 fun........
Had 2 gr8 rollicking matches....
I bowled 7 overs overall, took 6 wickets for 30-40 odd, and hit some 20-30 runs overall....
And DEEP bowled very well wid some pace and some gr8 yorkers.....
I got out to one of em.....Man a gr8 bowler is he......
And had a nice quarrel over a line overstep call wid RMK.....We never get along well wid each other.......Always on d opposite ends and in another boat tryin to destroy each other.....
I dont like to give up...Neither does he........
We eventually won both matches.....
VIN bowled wid a lot of vigour and committment...........

Then had to write MICROPROCESSORS record...
SO finished the record work and then browsed online for sometime......
VADI chatted for sometime wid me after a long time yesterday and then also wrote a testi on ORKUT
Then watched STAR WARS EPISODE III --- REVENGE OF THE SITH wid my SIS on the comp......
Awesome series directed by GEORGE LUCAS......
And ANAKIN SKYWALKER is awesome.....So is PADME.....
And I now have a stiff arm and back after playin normal cricket after 2 years approximately....
Hope it wud be alrite in another day or so......

And while my college staffs were bz settin the CAT question papers, I managed to crak some papers and got cracked in the others......
I have performed terribly in my ENGINEERING MATERIALS & METALLURGY...
A single digit is gonna do rounds.........
And I badly sodapified(a tamil equivalent of messing up) the THERMAL ENGINEERING paper too......A paper which I expected to score about 80%.....
The best thing was PROBABILITY AND STATISTICS....
I went to collect the paper,knowing anythin more than 38 was sure on 40........
I picked it up and was awarded a 34.....
Wasn't satisfied so went thru' the paper and saw that he had marked me wrong for 2 probs that were right.....

SO I carried on solving it by BINOMIAL and got the solution......
But on askin the prof as to why it was marked wrong he told me that we were supposed to use POISSON....
I was strong in my fundamentals to argue that POISSON DISTRIBUTION was a derivativve of BINOMIAL DISTRIBUTIONS.....
He told me that answers obtained wud be different.....
I didnt agree.........I challenged him that answers wid corrolate......And so they did.......
He was forced to award me another 2 marks.......
So that makes it a 38 on 40......
Was satisfied and the prof asked me to leave my sheet there as he wanted a sample answer sheet for records..........
Thank you, u may have it....Am not gonna do anythin wid it.........
Then was STREGTH OF MATERIALS AND KINEMATICS OF MACHINERY......
Both of which I performed well..........
Well enuf to get a 25+ mark..........
Dazz enuf to secure a 18-19 in internals...........
SO was quite satisfied except for EMM & TE........
There's always a second chance to rectify mistakes......
The II CAT is gonna be my target.........
Lookin for a 85-90% aggregate in the II CAT........Which I think is achievable wid some hard-work and perseverence..........
And then came the weekends.......
DAD had arrived from TRIVANDRUM on tuesday.......
So as soon as I came home on FRIDAY, I went out wid him and returned home only @ 930......
Saturday was also a similar stuff except for the fact that I completed some record work.......
Evenin went out to BAKU's house to see him.......
Hadn't seen him for a long long time........SO spoke wid him and I returned home only @ 10......
Then slept off @ around 11.......
SUNDAY turned out to be a gr8 day in the end......
Went to drive a COROLLA wid my DAD......
Man does the vehicle rock........GOODNESS GRACIOUS ME........
Just pounces like a leapord........So responsive,..........
Was doin a 95kmph in 2nd gear in no time........
Awesome.......Had to slow down coz of a cyclist in the middle of the road and the brakes also are gr8.......The car handles like a baby.........And is a gr8 handler overall.....
Wonderful characteristics of a TOYOTA winner..Shows wy the COROLLA has been the longest surviving model of the world........
Though the vehicle has high ground clearance, the vehicle is really splendid to drive......
Potholes are no more a pain.....Jus glides over em wid ease............
And then I also drove an OPEL VECTRA.......Another gem of a car wid iz advenced technology inside.......
And then returned home @ 12:30........
DAD told me that he had a flight @ 14:15.......
It was 13:25 by then........
So asked him to get ready and I went down to get onto my bike.......
And started from my house @ 13:30........
The airport is around 12-15 kms from my house.......
I reached the airport @ 13:40 sharp.......
And then from there had to send BAKU off @ ANNA UNIV...........
SO runshed down @ 120kmph on the GST road on my KARIZMA.......
Man the vehicle demands me to speed up everytime I think about slowing down......
Awesome handler but not in the class of my classic thumper from ROYAL ENFIELD........
The best 2-wheeler I've driven to date........She's an awesome machine.......Pulls wen u require her help and responds wen u need the most..........The best handling 2-wheeler I shud say.......
I deny all comments that BULLETS handle badly.......Man u shud drive a BULLET and then speak abt its handling characteristics.......
I'm afraid to put my KARIZMA to the rigours I put my ENFIELD to..........
That was my favorite bike and had to sadly part wid it coz of loads of problems on it........

Today had a nice day @ coll........
KoM prof didnt come to class coz he had forgotten abt the class.....
He told us he didnt sleep sterday nite as it was MAHA SHIVRATRI........
And so we kindly accepted his plea...........

Then had a new prof for SoM........
Man we've had 3 changes so far.....
The new prof was shown the door after barely a week of classes.......
He's become so so close........
A nice chap actually........
He's been the new kid on the blok on the staff's side.........
the latest addition..........
So he's mingled wid us sooner than we tot he wud........
Then returned home and then have been online since.......
Haan forgot to mention,..........
Went to ABT MARUTHI as soon as I returned to give my 800 for service.......
And man they told me it wud ruflky cose me 4000.Rs for the full 40000kms service to be done....
As they had to replace OIL,OIL FILTERS,AIR FILTERS, IGNITION SYSTEM CHECK UP, ETC ETC........
And the guy was very very good @ explainin stuff.........
Kudos thats wy ABT have been @ the top of the league wen it comes to customer satisfaction.......
And now jus mite go to watch STAR WARS EPISODE III.......

This is my blog's 200th post so I want to make it grunt free.....So no grumblings about bad things and negative stuff......
So the day today was an awesome one.........
The day started off on a high note wid the MICROPROCESSOR exam bein ez and me doin well in it.....
Then we had classes till noon.......
Actually we had classes till the afternoon but the latter part of the day was taken by a guest lecture on HIGHER STUDIES IN U.S.A. given by Dr.Michael & Miss.Elizabeth........
The presentation was awesome and was really informative.....
They had come all the way from MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY and the informations they gave about the education system in the U.S.A. were really good.......
And 2morrow I've got STRENGTH OF MATERIALS exam and I hope to do well in it...
We recd question banks for the subject in the evenin and the stuff in it is totally useless......
Then after attendin to the lecture, they handed over a memento to the one who arranged for the lecture....
A rare occurance, takin into the fact that the ones who arranged for it didn't even take some care to present them wid some memento.......
Then returned to the bus boardin area and chatted wid HP and classmates for sometime and then returned home......
Had early dinner @ around 6 and then started preparin for my CATS scheduled for 2morrow and after finishin it, I chatted wid PAKU and I mite be sleepin in sometime from now.......
I don't think this post was as special as it shud have been.....
But thats how life goes...

Hmmmmmmmm so that day of the year wen all the so called lovers get time off to spend together and share their feeling and express their love for each othere........
And with each festival comes somethin called a Bussiness gimmick..........
This day is used by all the card sellers and florists to make merry,sometimes a fortune out of the job.......
These stuff manage to skip our attention on normal days and only wen some spl day lk this one comes once in a while, we remember,"well there's somethin called flowers and bouquets and there is a florist shop which sells em...so wy not gettin a bunch of flowers to express our love to our lover..."
Well first of all for all those who think this day is only for lovers, then u r absolutely wrong about it.......
iz also for those frnz who mean a lot to someone..........So frnz needn't be shy of expressin their frnship to their frnz.........
And then there is somethin called a dress code that these dumbos in coll folllow that came to my notice 2day only.....
I had planned to wear BLAK shirts along wid HP and MIKE.......
So we did.......
Damn the guy who started sending this fwd which has bcome a craze and all students seem to follow it.....
Well I dont give it a damn....
Seems lk red stands for somethin and blue for somethin and blak for rejection and hate and blah blah blah........
Well for all those who follow this, u can't be dumber than this.......U ought to be ashamed of urselves.......:-p
There is no point in somebody wearin a blak on V'day and u make up somethin or the other so that u put-off the guy's mood.........
Grrrrrrr.........My deep sympathies to those who suffered this fate 2day........
And this craze grows on year by year.......
And we're not ashamed of followin d western festival/spl day as I'd like to call it as.....
I hope these stuff end some-day...
One doesn't need a spl day to express his luv to someone else.......
Everyday is a spl day in itself.....And anyday can be used as a day to express his/her love to their lovers/sweet-hearts.......
Although there's a day for them also...And nothin can be done to it.......
So let the thrill live-on.....

SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR-The Cricketing ICON of INDIA

Once in a while the bunch of talented young INDIANS manage to fail @ the battlefield.......Doesn't mean the maestro must fail too........He seems to have this ability to rise when the chips are down and bring some respectability to the INDIAN scorecard.....
Thats exactly what he managed to do in d 1st ODI in d HUTCH CUP-2006.........
Though, he got bowled off a no-ball from NAVED when he was on 11, he gathered himself up and went on to score a brillaint century.......
Though critics may not agree that the innings was the best ever, the new SACHIN has brought about stability to the line-up wenever the team needs it.....
Not very often do you get to see someone who can ATTACK & DEFEND dependin on d situation...
SACHIN is one of a kind....
Even LARA goes all guns blazing all d time and tries to upset the oppposition with his aggressiveness, whereas SACHIN does the aggressive act only when the situation demands and the team's requirements.....
During the SRI LANKA series, he went out all guns blazing because he was assigned that role......
Iz a one-off occassion since GANGULY left....The teams looks more youthful and is full of enthusiasm and brimmin wid confidence......
This doesn't mean that GANGULY was such a bad captain....
Ok he did well wen he was INDIAN captain...But then he can't be in d team for his captaincy alone.....His performaces have preference over captaincy record wen it comes to selecting a team and thats wat d selectors have done.....
They rightfully dropped GANGULY on basis of present form and his performances against d leadin oppositions........
Remember how STEVE WAUGH, one of the greatest captains who led his team to victory in the world cup was axed after failin to make it to the finals in one of the tournaments.....
Time has come for GANGULY to hang up his boots and allow the younger generation to shoulder some responsibility........
Now people may raise the question whether iz right for SACHIN to be on d team on basis of merit and his past geniusness........
SACHIN's a class-act and he rises from pressure situations at the ritght moments and proves he's such a gr8 player who can bounce back anytime and tear any attack in the whole world.......
AS he did in d first ODI against PAKISTAN and also in d series against SRI LANKA>.....
Genius is a word that doesn't even come close to describing his batting abilities and his stature and maturity that he has shown over the years.......
And news is that he has been watchin videos of his good old days during 1996,1998,etc..wen he was so successful demolishing the most feared attacks in the world...........
I still remember his back to back centuries in the SHARJAH CUP against AUSTRALIA when INDIA was down and out........Even the sand-storm couldn't keep SACHIN from notching up gr8 hundreds against the mightiest oppositions under trying conditions........
One was on his birthday in-fact..........GOD's GREATEST GIFT to INDIAN CRICKET........
Long live SACHIN..........He'd have probably scored 100 centuries by the time he leaves the international scene.......
Even if he doesn't achieve it,his efforts will be etched deep in d memories of people all over the world.......
The man whom the LATE SIR DONALD BRADMAN considered to be the closest player to have resembled his style of play in modern-day cricket........A real GEM........One who has to be preserved for the 2006 world cup.......
Probably SACHIN will play until the 2010 world cup and he's sure to surpass every record there is in modern-day cricket.........
The only record he won't be able to break is the record held by the LATE SIR DONALD BRADMAN for the highest average in tests in contemporary cricket history(Average:99.94)........
GREAT CRICKETERS are those who can adapt easily to any situation and demolish any oppostion any time any place....

D days roll on....D pain continues.....So does life...

D last couple of weeks passed away very slowly indeed.....And this week was no better except for me bunkin coll on monday jus lk that widout any reason.......I sat down and watched d match on monday.....And once in a while the bunch of talented young INDIANS manage to fail @ the battlefield.......
Iz a one-off occassion since GANGULY left....The teams looks more youthful and is full of enthusiasm and brimmin wid confidence......
And then coll was ruf on tuesday and wednesday, we had some fun due to the lab classes.....
This week I got some time to go to meet SATI........
I chatted wid him for a long time and returned home @ around 930........
Wednesday went down as a day wen I was totally put off due to an incident I ought not to disclose in here as it wud arouse a huge problem for the person under the scanner........
The on thursday and friday, the time jus went on as it normally does wid some fun down after coll hrs in d bus boardin pts........
Saturday was never as dumb as it was......I was sittin dumb @ home in d mornin and in d afternoon slept off.......
Went to visit the temple in d evenin and then browsed online and chatted wid some old frenz and slept off...........
Today was a dissapointment as well....Wid nothin much happenin,I decided to watch SPIDERMAN 1 & 2 on DVD.......
SO I did........Sat down @ 1 and watched both movies back to back........
Then watched E20U18 after finishin wid SPIDERMAN.......
SO that makes 3 in a row.......
Contemplating watchin a 4th one now.......Prob wont watch it.........Eyes are so tired and so prob mite crash earlier than usual.......
Hopin Others' weekends mite not have been so borin as mine was........

A slow week

the week so far has gone abt somewat at snail's pace......
Dunno d exact reason......Prob d fact that I reach home only @ 630 and can't even stretch my legs and arms on d bike makes me feel lk that......
Pretty dumb I shud say........
D labs were fun....
especially d thermal one as we did some expts wid engines and I saw an engine opened up and even worked on it......
Tryin to find the valve and port timin of four-stroke and two-stroke engines respectively.......
Then MICROPROCESSORS was also fun.....We finished 4 expts in d first cycle already......
And d prof doesnt demand for d obse at all.......All he asks us is whether we've understood d workin of the circuit and whether iz over..........
And SoM as always has beenm fun wid breakin job done @ almost all times.......
Today was pretty unusual as we had a VIVA session wid a new guy........
Pretty much an average week for me........Not too good not too bad.....
Lezz see how d weekend shapes up........
Am mostly going for RANG DE BASANTHI tomorrow afternoon wid HP and his bro, I guess....

Funny HITLER send the wrong signals....Takes guard of new territory even wid commendable oppisition....

Well wat more can I say wen there's a new HITLER in the coll.....
Not exactly HITLER's league but goes about killing others mercilessly wid his teachin........
My classmates think that he's not good enuf to handle KoM and now this guy suddenly enters the class and talks about stresses and strains.....
All of us thought we had the stuff in the machines part,and were bz takin notes on our KoM book wen he suddenly mentions after 20mins that he was speakin about SoM....
That was bcoz no one had a clue as to what he was teachin and everyone jus stood dumb widout answerin to him......
There went our day.....
We had SoM as our only free hr..Not exactly free but d prev prof was sorta free and mingled well wid d students....
But now we had KITLER for handlin.......it didnt last for long as our old prof returned today......
KITLER is the worst faculty we have this season......
This is an incident that happened in class recently......
"HP was sittin alongside me and the guy was takin somethin wid regard to angles....He suddenly went about describin abt d transmission angle.......HP got up asked him wat GAMMA was.....
And this man who was already fed up wid d behaviour of other guys in d class started shoutin.....
'CLASSLA ENNA PANNIKITTU IRUNDHE.....BUTTONA PODU.......OZHUNGA OKAARU....MANNERS AE THERIYATHA????'..Stupid guy didn't actually describe iz functionality to us at all......I was abt to tell HP but he went up a tad earlier......"

DUMB COLL TIMINGS

D day since coll reopened on 16th, the time that I travel everyday has exceeded 3 hrs a day....Wid coll startin @ 9, I get to the bus @ 740 and then reach coll by 840 and then attend to dumb classes(Excludin d labs and microprocessors).......
Then after that get into d bus @ 445 and reach home by 7 or 730....

January 19-THURSDAY::::

Took me 8 on this day to reach after a huge mess up near my coll....
Took us 1 hr to tread a kilo-meter.........Phew..........
Then our only way to while away time was to chatter among ourselves, pullin one another's legs by sayin somethin funny and frustratin them.......
Time jus flew past but d hunger was inevitable, so we decided to get ourselves a pack of biscuits and pack ourselves for the time being....
SO we sent MIKE and PAR out to buy d biscuits....
Then took us another 30mins to tread over from KATHIPARA to HALDA........

Then finally reached home by 8 and I jus remebered that I had to get a xerox of d thermal manual and give it bak to the prof by the next mornin.....SO just rushed bak from bath, finished a light dinner and hurried to get on my bike......
Then plied my way down to ADYAR, the traffic had sorta been sorted out on d ADYAR stretch atleast.....
D VELACHERY stretch was still full of vehicles standin still.........

I somehow managed to get down to ADYAR in 15 mins time..dazz 10mins more than wat I normally take to reach ADYAR....Then I entered the xerox shop and d guy told me that each side costed 1.Re and so I decided to flee away from the place as soon as possible and headed for another shop adjacent to this one.......
Took copies for 35.ps a side and happily paid him and thanked him for his kind act....
You dont get to find xerox shops open @ 9 in d nite @ all times....
This guy was kind enuf to lend me some company in speakin abt local stuff and then returned home @ 910 and setlled down on d bed and dcided to sleep coz it was a tirin day indeed.......
If it weren't for the 4 lab hours we had, I was doomed........
Gosh!!!!!!!! am happy that d day ended........Hoping no more days like that come again...........PHEW!!!!!!!!!!

JANUARY 20th to 28th::::::::::

D days jus fly ever so slowly and especially those mondays and tuesdays, make us feel sluggish in d beginnin of the week........Would have been nice to have a lab on monday to give us a HEADSTART.......
But we hafta be put up wid some dumb hrs on all MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS.....
We have got one of d worst profs for d most important subject.....
Dis stuff shall b discussed on my review on wat is to be expected off the subjects this semester and the profs involved.......
D wednesdays are sorta nice wid MICROPROCESSORS lab.....
D lab sounds fun and is even better wen done.......
It was so easy as I managed to complete 3 different expts in a single lab class......
We were all sittin dumb discussin politics for the rest of the 2 hrs.......
Didnt know wat else to do......
Den comes STRENGTH OF MATERIALS lab.....

It is one of the better labs we're going thru in our dept.......Although iz a CIVIL paper, I jus love the subj for wat it has promised to offer as of now.....Another E-MECH of rigid bodies wid some more detailed approach.......
The LAB is all about breakin objects and findin some values related to the properties of the material.......Like STRESSES & STRAINS.........

And as for THERMAL LAB, I've not gone thru it as yet......
so lezz hope that it has got more to offer than the other two labs.......
Dis has a stricter in-charge as compared to the other 2 labs..........

JANUARY 29:::::

And yeah, I had given my bike for a service thinkin I'd be gettin it bak by evenin but the guys made a mess up and I ended up pickin it up on 30th evenin......
After givin the vehicle, I found an inquisitive person askin me abt the performances of my KARIZMA and other bikes,......
I was sorta interested and we had a nice interactive chat wid him for about 30mins......
He told me he was workin in COUNCIL FOR LEATHER EXPORTS.......
Then from there, I walked bak home........
A nice pleasin 30mins walk.......
I like walkin and it was sorta shady wid all d trees and d mob givin sufficient entertainment, I walked bak.....
Then entered the house,and wowwwwwwww wat a ball.....

JANUARY 30:::::::

THe day was scheduled to suk royally and it exactly was that only.......
we had 2 hrs of KINEMATIX,& MICROPROCESSORS..... An hr each of MATH,EMM,SOM.....
The only free hour was the seminar hour wen the prof didnt turn up.......
The day sukd truly and MONDAYS are already frustrating and this made it al d more.....
ON my way bak, I got down @ CONCORDE MOTORS and walked down to SAIDAPET and got the vehicle bak.........
There paid 130 for the oil-change and a double filament lamp that was replaced and returned.....
The vehicle was low on gas.....
so got refreshed and went to fill gas and get some coffee powder for mom.....
I went filled up gas and met WAR on d way.....
Conveyed a Hi and left.......
After that I returned home and saw some regional news and was surprised to see a footage of a youth jumping off a water tank to the floor committin suicide......
Wid fire-service men reachin the place 2 hrs b4 this took place...
They didn't take any action to save him.....
He landed head-first on d ground and succumbed on d spot.......
Wat dreadful work by the personnel.......
Dumbers to the core......
Then there's this guy livin in COIMBATORE.....
He has someone close who has died....
He decides to check the sincerity of a doctor.....
He decides to hide the death of his friend and he goes to the doc askin for a fake fitness certificate for a job......
He gives all details after tellin the peon.....
The peon informs the guy that it cud be done in sometime.......
He agrees and meets the doctor.....
Pays the doctor 180.Rs and gets the fake certificate......
He then walks down to a local channel and furnishes the info.....
They air him and the story........SOunds really funny as to how these guys do these crazy stuff...
Atleast ensure the identity of the person........If not reject the offer..........Wake up DOCTORS>.....
Then have been spkin to PAKU & LULU........
guess I'll b crashin in another 20-30 mins.......

And down here in CHENNAI, nothin new's happenin.......
But for GOR's arrival here , it was scheduled to be the dumbest weekend in months......
But wid his presence, I do hope we have some pleasant times ahead........
And BAKU's also bak for his PONGAL holidays.......
Seems his sis is also bak so gotta get to his house and see his sis also.......
Helluva weekend lined up.......
And wid the KOLLYWOOD industry set to boom this pongal wid lots of festive releases.......

New year off to a slow start

The new year started off slowly wid nothin much happenin but then over the course of the next few days, it caught fire and started to speed up.......
But by the time it got going, SATI's coll was opened for the new sem and he was missin from the circle of friends which was already devoid of BAKU.......
B4D and JEB were the only ones left and JEB came along wid me to watch KING-KONG.......
Boy o boy.......
Wat a film.......Peter Jackson's efforts are more than laudable.......He needs praise for havin brought the best out of the beauty in the beast........
Wow the poicturisation and the grafix were awesome........and the beast's inner qualities were exposed to the fullesty possible extent.......
Although the first half was a bit slow until the entry of KING-KONG, the film got goin after the interval break as the monster got goin and the best part of the film was the fight sequence///////
The monster fightin two huge dinos was the best in d 3 hr long picture........
So lezz get along.....
Then on 3rd mornin, B4D and I went to chenglepet to finish off some work,.......
over there we visited the RAMAKRISHNA MISSION and then we returned bak......
On d way bak I managed a 145 on d speedo on a MARUTI 800.......
Never heard anyone goin faster than 130 in a M800.......
Then after that we had sometime out wid JEB and this was d menu for the next couple of days.....
After that JEB left town on 7th and B4D the followin day.....
After that it has been sorta borin for me.....
As SATI's off to attend coll and only I'm left alone to fiddle wid d comp.......
Well life's never been more borin than this.......
Hope it turns interestin over the next couple of days atleast........

Not takin resolutions is better than breakin em....

Well the time has come wen everyone goes about takin new resolutions for the new year.....
This is where most people make a mistake and force themselves into a point of no return....
Once a resolution is made, the person alters his life-style and his approach.......
This may not be approved by his/her colleagues and there starts a fracture in d realtionship bar....
This proves to be one of the toughest parts.....
I am not against takin resolutions but wen it comes to takin relations that involve both u and ur surroundings, it is better to refrain from such resolutions.......
This makes u maintain ur character and social image which wud be good in most cases....
even if it ain't good, its not the job of resolutions to change the weay of life...
Our way of life each-day counts to our improvement in character.....
Never does a resolution in any way alter the person in d correct proportion.......
Suppose a guy/gal takes a resolution of not usin obscene language/usin obscene language, the person suddenly gets out of it and is put in a state where he isn't able to choose his path properly....
And wen a time comes for the person to prove themselves, iz very difficult to get goin.......
And often they're forced to break it.....
And there is no point in d first place to have made the resolution........
The person wud be better off choosin not to use it on a daily basis.......
And he shud try at controllin it in a gradual manner........
No1 in d world wud be able to come off successful in such situations and the thing is that there is a phenomenon called temper which doesn't augur well for such individuals and more often than not, it aids the opposition to get the worst out of the person........
It'd be better off to take a resolution of bein more nicer to others than to take the above resolution........
Well I've indeed taken a resolution to be nicer to everyone but in my case, my temper is very very very short to help it in its cause..........
Very tuf indeed.......
I've somehow come up wid a solution.....
And lezz see for how many more months this manages to keep its head above water widout drownin.........

Well wid the year 2005 comin to a close widin a few hrs from now, I tot it mite be injustice not to blog abt the past year......

The year started off wid me takin a resolve to drive slowly and immediately bangin into an auto-rickshaw while goin to the temple.....
And then the month was packed wid d semester exams which later turned out to be a tragedy.....
And the the next month started off really badly wid me catchin up wid viral fever on valentine's day on d occasion of our college culturals.......
and then the next month went off passively wid nothin worth mentionin except for the horrific results comin out.......
Then april was a month where the reval results turned out to be in favour of me.....
And the next month, we had our study hols and nothin was done except roamin around the city....
then the month of june which until now was a month where we used to ease into the new year at school was the month where our second sems ended.......
and then there was the first real vacation for us from college for 2 weeks and it was sorta short for a summer vacation wid us bein bz studyin for the exams for the most of the time.......
and then in july came the results and it was very very sad, for I had 2 arrears this time and I applied for re-correction and they didn't turn in my favour this time around.......
and the month of AUGUST was d month we had the most fun wid B4D and JEB comin to chennai for their short vaccations and then the month ended wid the death anniversary of my granpa on 30th..........and I got my new bike on d same day.....
Then in SEPTEMBER the first accident on my new bike which later went on to suffer many more wid the most fatal comin most recently..........
Then october was a month where the college ended and we were sittin dumb in d house doin nothin but roam around the city and then these short vacations went on to be extended unexpectedly wid the monsoons hittin hard in the month of NOVEMBER wid the exams happenin.....
What this resulted in was the postponement of the exams to december.....
We jus managed the 2 exams in NOVEMBER as compared to the 6 that were scheduled.........
Then the month of DECEMBER started off in a wet fashion and the second week proved to be decisive in the future plans as I met wid an accident and was advised to take rest for the next 3-4 weeks which I managed to do for 2 weeks and again injured my knee a couple of days back......
And now iz the end of the year.......
A year which was mostly rough for me.......
I jus hope the next year would be one where I can get back to my old self..........
The more successful person I was in yesteryear.........
Hopin for the best..........

AND WISHIN U ALL A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS 2006........
MAY ALL UR UN-FUILFILLED DESIRES AND AIMS COME TRUE IN THE FOLLOWIN YEAR..........

Hols begin wid a bang and blows up soon....

28th DECEMBER:::::::

D hols began in style as we were pretty much at ease in the coll itself chattin out wildly shoutin at the top of our voices......
And wid B4D for company,time never fails to pass quickly......
It flies away lk nethin wen he's around........
I jus can't fathom as to how that happens......
And then we returned home wid HP accompanyin us.......
And wid a guy hintin on an accident occurin jus coz I was takin HP along.......
And then the front left was under-inflated and the vehicle was rollin.....
So we went to a petrol bunk to get it inflated and then returned home.....
After that I went down to SATI's place and we were bz chattin and beatin B4D up and B4D was kind enuf to give us a treat for beatin him up so ruthlessly........
Mwuhahaha......
And then returned home @ around 930 and slept off..........

29th DECEMBER:::::::

B4D and myself had agreed to have the welded clamp painted all by ourselves after buyin 50ml of paint and a 25mm brush.......
As we had planned out, I went down to his house after chkin wid d bike mekanik for the helmet lok rubbin on d tire.......
So after that we painted the part black and we left for Panagal Park for some shoppin for B4D.....
Then we went to SANDA KOZHI and from there to Egmore to get BAKU's tiks for his return journey to CHIDAMBARAM......
then we went to SKS and had polis........
Dazz where fate decided to strike its evil note........
I was tryin to get up from my chair and go to get the poli for B4D and I banged the same knee which has been givin me some trouble after the dreaded accident on d table........
And up went the pain soarin to new heights......
Although it came down in d next few minutes I knew it wud swell up in d comin hrs.....
And as per expectations, it got swollen up and d pain was sorta tolerable but had iz face showin out in the light after a week's absence.........
And I readily gave it an ice-bag treatment and it had temporarily come down(the pain only) and I was able to sleep........
Then today mornin I got up and I felt some pain while walkin again........
Somethin that hadn't been there so long........
And now I hafta have another week's rest to get bak to where it was a couple of days bak.......
I am to be blamed for this act of mine..........
And so today was an off day as far as roamin and freakin out wid frnz is concerned........
And so I jus hope the last day of the year doesn't go as today went........
I want a considerable outin tomorrrow..........
Jus hope everythin goes as per plans...........

A FREAKY ACCIDENT COSTS 2 WEEKS OF BIKING-BLISS

Lez wind the coil back to the 10th of DECEMBER........
I was happy after seein the latest SURYA flick AARU 's first show the prev day.....
And as I basked in joy after all the exams had been postponed to 17th and later, I decided it was time to freak out some time.......
So wat I did was planned to do a thing wid SATI and went to his house to get the stuff done and also he wanted me to take him out shoppin so I decided to accompany him.....
I started off from my house after a chota fite wid ma mom for a stupid if not silly unwanted reason and left.......
Enter my conscience..........
I had somethin peggin the back of my mind that somethin was gonna happen today affectin life for a few days.......
I bein a person who likes to dare those challenges that lay ahead, drove away to SATI's house.......
Dazz wen another tot of an accident happenin came........
Then I slowed down to 30kmph and drivin slower than most Learners drive their stupid bikes and cars, I cruised along.......
I entered the street which is perpendicular to SATI's house..........
Drivin slowly on the narrow road which was filled wid pot-holes, I was very very careful........
As I almost reached my goal of reachin SATI's house, a dog which was supposedly lyin on d shop floor adjacent to the road,ran across the road from the left side........
there was a big big pot-hole on the right and further right was a drainage line........
So I decided to drive to the left of the pot-hole.....
Dazz wen fate struck iz nasty hands out...........
I braked hard coz the dog swerved towards the right and there was no room to squeeze my bike b/w the dog and the pot-hole.....
Sorta in an inclined pasture,I was still brakin and that was probably the only mistake I had comitted.....
I didnt want to run over the canine as most of u wud hv done.......
Eventually the brakin cost me the joy and thrill of bikin for the subsequent 2 weeks.......
I had badly hurt my left knee and it had swollen up.....
I called up SATI askin him to come to the spot......
The bike was picked up by some good kind-soul who parked the bike by the side of the road......

SATI then arrived with his dad.......
Then I asked him to catch and AUTO-RICKSHAW to drop me bak home
and then I asked him not to inform my home as I didnt want to make them worried.......
Then I went home and asked SATI to inform my mom only abt this and not to my gran coz she wud b very very upset if she came to knew.......
So he went up and down came my gran wid my sis......
i had by now informed my dad and also asked him not to inform de house abt this.....
Then from there I went to BALAJI HOSPITAL where I was subjected to a couple of x-rays and dressin of the wounds.......
The doctors suspected that it mite b a hari-line fracture and asked me to be admitted for a day and to be under study for a day.......
The same night I was fast asleep wen a stupid doctor came and patted me hard on my hand disruptin my sleep........
And all he asks is whether there is any pain and he presses the knee a couple of times increasin the pain.....
CAN U PLZ TAKE THAT HAND OFF MY LEG........U R HURTIN IT FURTHER>........
he said iz nothin and that i'd be fine in 4 weeks and went off.......
Enter the ORTHO SPECIALIST.....
He comes and again does some pressin and bendin of my knees.......
Hurt really badly......
Then he asks me to take another x-ray.........
This time a SKY-LINE type.......
And these guys take me to the x-ray lab on a stretcher......
Man wy do u need a stretcher wen u can walk......
I had d x-ray and slept off.......
got up in d mornin and BAKU,SATI,GOR had all come there to see me.....
In-fact, BAKU was there the prev nite itself........
And the help that BAKU and SATI needs a mention down here and I ought to thank them for their helps..........
THANKS DUDES(JUS IN CASE U END UP READIN THIS)..........
And then I was discharged in d afternoon.....
I limped bak out of the hospital into the auto and returned home.......
I was angry wid myself for havin fallen down so stupidly..........
Then I had a good sleep in my room and then had my dinner and went off of to sleep again.....

The next couple of days, I was doin nothin but sleep and eat..........
And then the doctors had asked me to come bak to hv a check-up on tuesday.........
So I gleefully went to see the doctor hopin I wud be cleared of the fractures.........
My first impression of the fracture was that it was all normal........
But these doctors who love to make some paper outta nothin admitted me and made some quick money..........

The doctor inspected the area under pain and the doctor went to consult the chief doctor.....
the chief came and pressed it again, asked me to walk for a short distance and he said it was normal and advised normal walk........
The swellin had remained constant for all the while........
Then I returned home and in this joy, was bak to tryin to bend my knees a bit.....
it pained now.......
Then my gran told me to hv massages wid an ayurvedic oil for a few days and also a hot-water press............
I followed that and the pain jus seems to have vanished.......
Only the swellin is there and I'm not able to bend the knee to the extent I was b4 the incident........
There seems to be a catchy feelin on the knee wen I do manage to bend it above the limit possible now..........

And now am bak to drivin bikes on the road 2 weeks after the accident.......
I jus went out and rectified the gear-lever that was bent on the impact and also fitted a crash-guard for my bike.......
I also changed the wheels of my karizma to a MICHELIN 4.00x19 one from the present 100/90 ones..........

Man the tyres are good.....
Jus that they rub against the walls of the mudguard while a pillion rides is the problem.......
Me being a heavy-weight, the bike's suspension cant keep the tyre from kissin the sidewalls and the mud-guard........
Well I've got an idea to get over it lezz see how it goes.............
I shall get to the exams in my other post thats followin up........

The exam point of view........

The exams after being postponed were scheduled to restart on the 17th of dec wid MATH bein the first of those strenuous exams........
The paper was sorta ez.....
And I performed pretty well.........
Was out of the hall in 90mins........
And yeah the travellin to college by the coll bus has bcome a thing impossible bcoz I've got to handle gettin in and gettin out of the vehicle wen the vehicle is movin at around 5-10kmph.......
And also the step-height is an area of concern......
So my dad had arrived for T'VAM for lookin after me and my transport.......
So he was carin enuf to drop me @ the college and wait there until I finished my exams and picked me up after that..........
bak to exams........
And the next in line was EDC which was a subject I had done wid around 3 times by now.....
So I had a extended rest for 2 days and began 2 days b4 the exam and I was able to study all the stuff sorry revis all the stuff in 2 days.......
The paper was supposed to be a lengthy one so one had to have good writin speed in-order to complete the paper in time.......
Cometh exam-day........
I recd the paper and the paper was the eziest one cud hv expected........
It was so so so short......
I finished the exam in 85-90 mins and left the hall.....
HP was already waitin outside to talk to me as he had only then known I had met wid an accident.....
Then I left off after narratin the whole story to him..........
Then I had d arrear paper of EMECH the very next day.......
I had already studied for it but then I wanted to be dead sure of my preps so I studied it all over again in d nite from 7 to around 1 in the nite.......
Then I went for the exam only to see a sub-standard paper being handed over....
I finished de exam in a record 60mins and left the coll.....
After returnin, it was 2 full days of hard-work for FLUMECH which was another success story as far a the student was concerned.......
The paper failed to appeal to even to most sluggish minds in d class.......
Then another day's gap followed by another arrear paper today.........
I went to coll wid SATI,JEB,B4D accomapnyin me........
Then wrote the exam prettyy ok and came bak.......
And then went out wid B4D(THALAI) and came bak home and ever since hv been browsin and bloggin and chattin.......
Now iz time to play some games on d comp...........

A long vacation nears an extension

NOVEMBER 15^TH TO DECEMBER 3^RD:

To sum up the days from November 15^th to December 3^rd, I had been bz wid my exam preparations as I went on a full swing one…

And the two exams which managed to beat the storm and depressions were like chalk and cheese.

The first up was THERMO which we all managed to screw up big time…

Probably a gr8 lenient correction wud help us along the way of clearing the subject but if it just doesn’t happen, it’s gonna be a tragedy and we’ll manage to flunk.

And it’d be another lecture from our HoD……

So then were the extended vacations for us….

Although it wasn’t announced on the whole in one go, we managed to get em stuck together in installments..

An installment paid for 2 days period for a duration of a week…..

So the guys were forced to go in for a total reschedule as all areas as shown in my previous post were water-logged….

December 3^RD TO DATE:::::

Now that my days wid the books got over, it was time to rejoice..

I had already gone for a movie in the last week after the MATH exam on November 26^th was postponed to a latter date….

I went around to SATI’s place and spoke to him a lot and then we went out…

Over the last couple of days, I haven’t met him….

And today I managed to go to see the latest addition to the ever so popular HARRY POTTER series on thje silver screen and wow this gal EMMA WATSON rokz high time……

She’s just no match for any present heroines gracing the silver screen…

I jus hope she continues her actin and becomes a gr8 actor in the yrs to come……..

I really lk the way she goes abt portrayin HERMOINE…

I haven’t read the books though……

And then returned home and relaxed myself….

I am jus havin a weird feelin I haven’t mentioned someone’s name down here..

And I am sure a question wud arise in the right person’s mind at the right time….

Time to chill out….

Photo Glossary

Aberration
The inability of a lens to produce a true image, particularly at the edge of a photograph.

Angle of View
The area of a scene that a lens can cover. The focal length of the lens determines the angle of view. Aperture

Aspherical lens

Chromatic aberration
The inability of a lens to bring all light wavelengths (particularly red & blue) into the same plane of focus, thus causing overall blur. Usually found in regular large-aperture telephoto and super-telephoto lenses. Not improved by reducing aperture size. Can be corrected with low dispersion (ED, LD SD) glass.

Colour temperature
A method of expressing the colour content and quality of light and measured in Kelvin (K). "Photographic daylight" has a colour temperature of about 5500K. Photographic tungsten lights have colour temperatures of 3200K to 3400K depending on their construction.

Depth of Field
The distance between the nearest and furthest objects in a photograph that are considered to be acceptably sharp. Dependant on aperture, focal length and focused distance. The smaller the aperture, the wider the lens and the further the focused distance, giving a greater depth of field and vice versa.
Electronic flash
Designed to provide light where the lighting on the scene is insufficient. Electronic flash requires high voltage, usually obtained through batteries and a voltage-multiplying circuit which discharge a brief, intensive burst. Generally considered to have the same photographic effect as daylight. Modern flash units have multiple TTL exposure control functions and auto focus control.

F-numbers or F-stops
Numbers on the lens aperture ring and the camera's LCD (where applicable) that indicate the size of lens aperture. The lower the number the larger the aperture. As the scale rises, each number is multiplied by a factor of 1.4. Standard numbers are 1.0,1.4, 2, 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, 22, 32, etc., each change resulting in a doubling or halving of the amount of light transmitted by the lens to the film.

Film Speed
ISO stands for International Standards Organization and numbers such as ISO 100 or ISO 400 etc. give the sensitivity of film to light. The higher the number, the more sensitive or faster the film. Basically, the slower the film (low ISO No.) the sharper and clearer the photograph. Grainy effects can be achieved with fast films (high ISO No.).

Flash sync speed
Exposure time with a focal-plane shutter is measured from the moment the first curtain is released until the moment the second curtain is released. The instant the first curtain closes, the electrical contacts for X sync close and instantly fire the flash.

Focal Length
The distance from the film to the optical centre of the lens when the lens is focused on infinity. Focal length on most adjustable cameras is marked in millimetres on the lens mount. On 35mm-format cameras, lenses with a focal length of 50mm are called normal or standard lenses. Lenses of 35mm or less are called wide angle lenses and lenses of 85mm or more are called telephoto lenses. Lenses which allow varying focal lengths without changing focus are called zoom lenses .

Lens
One or more pieces of optical glass or similar material designed to collect and transfer rays of light to form a sharp image on film, paper or a projection screen. In practical photography, compound lenses made of a number of elements of different types of glass are used. This enables the manufacturer to correct most of the faults (aberrations) found in simple lenses and provide images that are sharp across the whole picture.

Lens Speed
The largest aperture(smallest F-stop) at which a lens can be set. Fast lenses transmit more light and have larger openings than slow lenses. Determined by the maximum aperture in relation to focal length. Lens speed is relative: a 400 mm lens with a maximum aperture of F/3.5 is considered extremely fast, while a 28mm F/3.5 lens is considered to be quite slow.

Perspective
Perspective is a two-dimensional representation of a three-dimensional scene. In photography this can be achieved by viewing 3-D objects from an angle rather than head-on. A photograph is also given perspective if there are objects in the foreground, middle distance and background, giving the whole scene “depth”.

Single-Lens-Reflex (SLR) Camera
Light entering the camera through the lens is reflected up by a mirror behind the lens onto a ground glass screen above. This screen is viewed through the viewfinder and a glass pentaprism which turns the image the correct way up. Other camera functions such as light metering and flash control also operate through the camera lens.

Zoom Lens
A lens which can be adjusted to a wide range of focal lengths without a change in focus, thus an alternative for a number of individual lenses of various focal lengths. A difficult type of lens to design and manufacture, but very useful for the photographer who likes to travel light.

VIVA-VOCE SESSION SUX BIG TIME........

The sem prax had begun for us on 24th and so far 2 have ended with d biggest head-ache of em all to be held on 29th........

24th OCTOBER

9-30 a.m.

Had MT-2 lab exams so we were already geared up for d lab...
We were discussin some major last minute points on how to work on d machines.....
RMK and I were goin thru' d TOOL & CUTTER GRINDER and RB stepped in and asked us whether we needed a round up of all d machines now...... We promptly turned down d offer and went to listen to his instructions......
That guy had an eye on us during the former part of our lab sessions.......
Now the image was sorta rectified with us being very responsive and regular in d lab.......
Then we had to submit out records and pick an expt from a lot......
And guess wat, I managed to get the easiest of em all.....
I got to do the CLEARANCE & INTERFERENCE FITS for which u are basically required to turn and face a given cylindrical bar on the LATHE and then maintain d dias of the ends of the cylindrical job so that one end has a dia which is greater than the hole size which incidentally was 22mm for yours truly..
I did d expt with utmost precision and I was inspected inbetween by the HOD and the external who signed the papers.
Then I used the vernier to measure the dia and finished off d procedure in quick time and submitted it 3rd after MOK and RMK........
I was sorta fired with some rapid bullets which just didnt have the gun powder of d highest quality.......
BUt one of em definitely was...
And I lacked the staunch approach for that and so I couldn't reply to that question..
He gave me a 10 on wat was supposed to be 20........
I felt pretty relieved as the previous two had got 7 & 8 respectively..........
Feeling secure, I left the lab and left the colege premises by 1 with RMK by the state transport bus.......
I reached POONAMALEE and then caught another bus down to GUINDY..
From there, I came to d house by AUTO not before walkin for a KM or so...........
Wished ma frnd,
Then I slept for an hour or two........
Then I did some readin for FM in some 10 mins and then read the novel and slept off........

NONSESNE SERVERS OUT HERE........
THERE WERE 30 ODD LINES AFTER THIS THAT MISSIN............
NOT IN A MOOD TO POST EM NOW..........

SLEEPY DAY

Well today was not a day of twists and turns......
Instead, the day started off with me gettin way ahead of normal time........
So I bathed sooner than usual and was sittin in the sofa earlier than usual.......
Then I read the newspapers and went to drop my sis @ skool//////
After that returned home and in 5 minutes time, I was in dreamland.......
My gran woke me up requestin me to drop my mom @ the can stop....
SO I went to drop her and then I returned.....
Then I went back into dreamland.......
I woke up only @ 11-30............
I went and refreshened up and had lunch........
Then I badly needed to study for EMECH and so I did that jus that........
I was rusty and I tried my level best to study for more than 1hr30mins which I couldnt........
So then I tried to connect online again.......
Luckily it got connected and hasnt got cut for sometime now..........
Hope it stays like this for the rest of the time.........

POST-MODEL(MORTEM) REPORT

All the model prax went on very very fast and as expected a bunch of fools were monitorin us doin the copyin work.....
We were asked to randomly pick a sheet with an expt and proceed with the formalities.....

OCTOBER 18

First up was d practical for MANU.......
I got LATHE TOOL DYNAMOMETER and it was an easy job......
The fact that I had to measure the chip thickness for a certain depth of cut and plot the respective graphs and then draw the MERCHANTS CIRCLE made me leap up in joy.......
I finished the work in 10 mins and den did the calculations for a long extended frame of time.....
I was in no hurry watsoever.....
So I completed it and then was called for the VIVA-VOCE session by RB......
I jus eased past the session in CRUISE mode.......
Was afterall MANU....
He jus twisted some questions but he cudn't stop me from answerin to em.....
I jus kept on shooting the answers back to him @ the speed he shot the questions @ me.....
Then I came out and had to collect the record....
I took out my mobile to check whether anyone had messaged.....
SINI had called up @ 9-10, supposedly thinkin that I was back home and to ask me to come online.......
Who knows???????
Then I had my lunch and called her back to find out the purpose of her call........
She told that she'd get back in 10 mins but I was bz.......So I told her that I'd call her after returnin home.......Which I eventually didnt..........
He was rusty in correction and he gave the record back by only 2-30.......
I then left back home with a frnd in his car.......
He was kind enuf to drop me @ my apartment's entrance......
Then I went on studyin for the next models which was FLU MECH>.......
Its supposed to be easier than MANU were it not for the teacher we had.....
Even then a bunch of those stupids and crazy nuts who wish to have all the readings given to them with the calculations found it the toughest lab on the circuit......
But seriously speakin ELEX lab has to be the tufest on the circuit.......
So I started studyin for the models hopin to finish it in 30mins or so.......
I did so with ease and with 10 mins left to go for the 30 mins to go...........

Then I browsed online for 10mins and then started readin a novel of JEFFREY ARCHER>......
I read on till it was 11.....
Then I slept off............
The next day, I left to the college in my M800........

OCTOBER 19

Went to college earlier than my bus usually does......
So went to the lab and discussed some strategies for the models........
Then I went inside and we found to our surprise that the prof incharge wasnt there.......
Time to rock.......
So we started takin papers of our choice and then we went on to discuss and write the procedure and stuff.....
So then I had got RECIPROCATING PUMP>....
I was at ease with the expt.......
I was doin the expt and sudddenly the unthinkable happens......
The HOD enters the lab and inspects the lab...........
He then starts to walk toward me......
I was speakin to the guy next to me.......
He comes and asks me "Wat do u have?????"
I said wat i was doin and then he says "carry on" and leaves the lab........
:Phew:
Didnt expect it to be so easy........

Then I completed my expt and finished the calculations.....
Then the prof turns up for the VIVA session.....
So she calls everyone up accordin to the order in which the paper was submitted and then she calls me.......
I go and sit for the VIVA session....
Then I was asked some 6 questions.......
5 of which I managed to answer.....
The 3rd question was not known to me so I plainly said, "I DON"T KNOW MA'AM"
She says,"Think somemore, think abt the principle and u'll get it.....its a easy question.."
I repeated my statement and she proceded to the next question....
Then I came out and waited for MOK to come out.....
He was to accompany me on my way back home in my car......
Then we had to meet RB to get HP's record signed.....
We got that done in 30 mins and then returned home....
I dropped MOK @ the GUINDY railway station and came home, had lunch.......
I called up SINI as I had told her that I wud call her the prev nite itself but I was sorta busy........
She was studyin for her prax the next mornin with her classmates..........
So let her study and then I went to SATI's house and chatted with him........
Then we went out to the temple and returned home @ 7-30...............
Read the book and slept off...........

OCTOBER 20

SATI was on a study hol and I was in a mood to study for my arrear exam.....
So I decided to prepare for it.....
I finished 2 lessons by lunch and then went to SATI's house and watched the latest RAVI flick, MAZHAI.....
I was bored after the first half was over and so stopped the movie.......
Then I had to pick my sis up from school and so I left.......
It was like the rain gods were about to grant the earth with a nice long shower in sometime.....
So I decided to return home and take the car to pick her up.........
And I was right.......
The skies opened up and a nice shower set in.............
I picked my sis up and returned home.........
Then I sat idle @ home and also managed to catch some sleep..........
Then I was fiddlin with my comp coz it had developed some problems over the past few days......
Then I tried to connect online and it failed and even if it did, I was able to be online only for 2 minutes.......
So I decided to quit and do somethin useful.......
I did some playin on the comp.......
Then slept off...........

The weekend as predicted earlier was damn rockin.......
With JEB and B4D back in town after a long interval, it was high time I spent some of my time with time.......
And on SATURDAY, in the mornin, I went to B4D's house and had nice time with him alone....
From there we went to ANNA SALAI to get my bike fitted with the registration plate @ around 10..............
The owner said it wud be 12-30 before we cud have the plate.......
So we went to spend some time @ spencers........
We returned from there @ 12...........
And then we had a look at the fragile plate made for the bike.......
Had to find a way to make it tuf........
So wat we did was to fit it on top of the old thick one which was there by default.......
We had it fitted by 12-30.......
Then dropped B4D @ his shop and came back home and had lunch......
Then went to pick JEB up @ 2-30 to go out to get the ful gauge fixed..........
The guys down there asked us to come around TUESDAY coz there were lotsa vehicles being serviced by them and it wud be tuf to get it fixed accurately if I leave it now......
So from there we went to my house and we browsed online without any target.......
Then went to SATI's house and met him.......
Then we asked BAKU to come to SATI's house and from there we went to BESI......
Then we enjoyed ourselves minus B4D.....
B4D is a guy whose company wud be cherished by anyone who goes to the beach........
Then we returned home late by 9.30...........
SUNDAY evenin, we went to BESI again.......
This time, BAKU wasn't around...........
Had one helluva a time down @ the beach,.............
MONDAY was d day wen we were scheduled to go to watch GAJINI......
We somehow had to convince B4D to come down to watch the film........
He gave in meekly this time without much resistance.....
After returnin from the movie, we came to my house and from there, we played cricket near my old apartments.......
We had one helluva time down there.......
Then we went back home and I had rest while B4D and SATI chatted @ SATI's house for sometime..........
TUESDAY was GORI's b'dae and I wished him first up @ midnight........
Then I was to go to correct the error on my bike's fuel gauge......
I rectified the problem and went to fill the bike up with gas.......
Then whilst I was returnin, the rain-gods gave way to the much sought rain.......
I was drenched but I luv drivin in the rain so I drove down to SATI's house........
SATI had invited BOO for lunch.......
JEB & B4D also joined us late.......
Then had nice time with BOO and my frnz..........
Then from there we went to my old apts hopin to play cricket but the dumb car owners had parked their cars rite down in the firin line of the batsmen........
So we gave up and went to SPENCERS instead.//////////
Down @ spencers, we had really nice time there and it was the last day we met before rain spoiled the plans for WEDNESDAY.........
The rain-gods were way too generous to make the whole of WEDNESDAY a wet affair........
I was totally upset....
I wasnt supposed to read anythin as it was SARASWATHI POOJA on that day.......
So totally bored, I slept away in the afternoon, only to be woken up by a fone call by SINI........
Spoke to her after a brief fite with her///
Then I saw VASOOL RAJA MBBS and slept off in the nite..................
Then I had my CATS scheduled for today.......
I woke up to rains.........
Then I went hastily to college hopin to see the college flooded and I wasnt dissapointed.......
I did my CATS well even though I hadn't prepared for em.........
Tomorrow is a rest day........
That is to be followed up by TD & MANU........

GHAJINI plans take a back-seat...

I was supposed to go to see GHAJINI on saturday which I couldn't bcoz I had given my bike for servicing @ a local company service outlet.
The guys down there told me that I would get my vehicle back by 6.
So I planned out my movie plans precisely so that I could pick the vehicle up an go straight to the theatre which was say 2 mins down the road from the service station.
But this was not to be the case..
Instead the guys delayed the time of delivery, thus preventin me from goin to the film..
SO from there I went along with SATI to SATHYAM to see if any tickets were available...
We didnt get any tickets and so we went to one of our frnd's house to see her..
I hadnt seen her before but she was a nice frnd over the fone......
Her name is BOO.....
I had presented her a greeting card and a small naaaaaaa big teddy....
So she wanted to meet me so went there and she recieved us with warmth......
We spoke for an hour or so and then left.......
She was the first person other than SINI to who's house I've been to and spoken to.....
I am really pleased to have met her and have her as a friend.......
Then from there we went to KB and had some dosas and paranthas........
Then returned home late.......
So there goes the GHAJINI episode......
But then after that it turned out to be a really really bad and hard week.......
We had to complete all records and observations by this week and this was a task which could be done with atleast 4 hrs of work on a regular basis........
Then after gleefully, wat???????????GLEE????????
Na na......
Angrily finishin all records outta compulsion, got bonafides signed from RYB........
Then the week was off............
Then monday is gonna be bunk day as we have no useful class on MONDAY.......
So iz weekend time for the next 5days as JEB and B4D are comin to town and so I mite be a busy chap with them around............
And this time no taking second chances on GHAJINI......
SATI and I have already booked tix for the four of us mentioned above and BAKU.......
Yup BAKU is on his way to town this weekend........
So then its gonna be a great party time this week in CHENNAI.......
Time to ROCK.......

YAHOO GROUPS PLAN GOES KABOOM....

Well there was a initial talk about startin a group for the whole mechanical class...
The proposal went beyond talks and became a reality wen the group was started and all members joined in...
Not before we gave them the assurance that all class notes will be put up on the site for viewing...
All these were going according to plan for 2 days..
The third day, we had scanned the notes for EDC and PNV had sent me the copies of the scanned pages...
I then tried uploadin em on the site,blog( we created a blog for each subject seperately.) and all I could do to upload em..
But to no avail.
The pages didnt get loaded and we sorta gave in wen I tried uploadin em seperately as jpegs and 3 files were uploaded.
Not until after uploadin em did I realise that they were too big to be stored permanently with frequent addition of our class notes periodically..
Each file was about 1.44MB and we had only 20MB of space left........
The problem was that the present notes were alone 22 pages each of 1.44Mb worth of space...
This meant we had to find another alternative to uploadin em on the group..
We still are finding a way to upload em to the group blog or anywhere I can provide a link to enable the guys have a look and save em to their own comps.....
As of now the group plans has gone KABOOOM.........
But it'll soon be back with vengeance..........
Hope to see the group flourish as I expeceted it to........

Service due on my bike...

I have been riding the new bike for 2 weeks only and it has managed to run 539KMS..
I consider servicing of the bike an important aspect in maintinin the bike in a spic and span condition...
I thereby keep track of the services...
In the future, I will be able to service my bike all by myself...
As of now I have to be content watchin my bike being service by someone else.....
A day will come wen I'll be handlin a centre where others' bikes will b undertaken for servicin by my company.... :GRIN:

Now that this week was quite hectic with record works piled up right to the sky's limits, I was not able to move a muscle...
I had to be content sittin @ home and write records and write records and write records.......
Now that some of that stuff is put out, I can manage to rest and hey did I blabber somethin bout the seminar that I took yesterday??????????

Well it was a flop-show all the way........
HP accompanied me for takin it up.....
And the start was the obnly thing that went as expected.......the rest was a disaster......
And if any of my classmates are readin this, SORRY DUDES..........
Well that was my first presentation and KABOOM>.........
I have some plans for tomorrow......
Hafta see how well it goes..........
Have lotsa things to complete as well........
And am damn sure that we'll have a special class for completion of our EDC lab experiments,.......
As of now only FM is over........
We have 5 more to go in MT and its hectic pracs in front of us..........
Phew hafta figure out a way to complete the experiments in time...........

A weekend which I have enjoyed after a long long time.....

This weekend was certainly one to be kept right up there with the most enjoyable ones so far not because I was roaming around on my new HH KARIZMA, but I was entitled to total fun.......
It all started off with me goin to the beach with my first sem mates and then over there @ besi, we were really really on a rampage sorta stuff.....
Made BESI BEACH stand on its heels(if it had one).......
We made the restaurant there(KHANA KHAZANA), a total mess-up as we kept on askin for more spoons and more raitha for we could have somethin worth more than wat we paid for......[:grin:]
Then I returned from there not before meetin up with one of my old skool buddies, NITHIN......
Man 'twas a long time back that I had seen him.....
Probably around a year and a half and he hasnt changed as much as the time that has gone by......
Then I returned home @ 9-30 and then browsed online and then slept off @ 11-30........

SATURDAY das
I got up @ around 6 and got ready to go and drop my sis @ her skool.....
I went to drop her @ around 7-35(Thats the time I usually go to board my college bus).........
Dropped her @ her skool and then whilst returnin, I saw most of my college buses going in the opposite direction....
Then I returned home and was upset when I found out that I had run outta validity on my cellular......
Then I went to get a recharge voucher for meself and then came back home, took some rest and started off with my MANTECH records and I was pretty much engaged in my work that I forgot that I had planned for a movie that evenin.....
So I made sure I synchronized along with the ones who were comin........
Then I went back to pick my sis........
Came back home, had lunch, did some more writing stuff and then started for the movie......
SATI had promised to accompany me so took him along with me........
SAAT was waitin ther and then we bought tickets which were easily available and then sat for the movie...........
The movie was awesome.......
Atleast during the action sequences........
The scenes in which the heroine appeared were nonetheless boring.......
Except for some scenes.......
And there seemed to be no logic durin the climax.
Then from there, SATI and I went to get gifts for BOOM and then to get me seminar material xeroxed on OHP.......
We bought a cute little(big) teddy bear and a ganesha idol and greeting cards for her.......
Then I returned home and chatted....
Seems we are scheduled to play on SUNDAY mornin @ MARINA............
Slept off early @ 10-30...........

SUNDAY

I got up way off scheduled time and hurriedly got ready and woke up SATI and rushed to the cricket spot only to wait for everyone to come late..........
We played 2 games on the sands of which we shared the honours.......
I had a pleasant outing during the second match where I rescued my team from the dumps @ 21-4 in 5 overs to 84-4 in 10 overs.......
Quite commendable.........
Isn't it???????????
i.e) consider the attack which can be like an AUSSIE attack with PONTING bowling with the new ball............
I flayed the attack to all parts of the BEACH........
Then returned to SATI's home and customized the card for BOOM's b'dae and left back home.....
SATI was supposed to give the card to her......
So then I bathed and slept off for 30 mins.......
HAd lunch and then I did some writing work and then went out with SATI to the temple......
There, I met up with a surprising person........

No prices for guessing.........
Yup, 'twas SINI and I had seen her after a long gap now.....
During the CATS, we were both @ different ends of the college while preparing and so couldn't even get a glimpse of her........
Then we had a discussion with her and left after 20mins......
From there, we went to OASIS to have a drink and I invited SINI which was rejected and then went to drop SATI @ his house.......
Returned home and then browsed through the pages of OVERDRIVE magazine and had dinner...
Then now logged on to browse and chat with me frenz........
Hoping that my seminar will go well tomorrow..............

Sorta lousy and decent CAT performance

The CATS ended today with us performaning below potential in all exams....
The question papers were more of sorta beamers of BRETT LEE &SHOAIB AKTHAR directed right onto our faces.....
Feel like I could send em off jus lk the refree in the MANU vs VILLA REAL match sent out WAYNE ROONEY for clapping in his face for the yellow card.......
The worst ever question paper set was the Fluid Mechanics one in which all the detailed answers were from a single UNIT....
The students were pretty pissed off @ the attitude that the prof is showin and am damn sure wat ever marks they get is all their own efforts than a combo of both the prof's and the student's efforts.....
The way the prof goes about explaining concepts is more like complicating a simple concept by going all the way over the topic except touch the topic.......
Then the next day she comes to class and contradicts her own statements......
Then she says,"See I want all of u to score more than 90% in your semester exams!!!!!!!!!!"
Whoa whoa hold on.......
I can guarantee u that as of now only 40% of the class will pass....
Probably she would have meant the 40% of us should get 90+..........
Thats quite possible.......
And next the best joke in the whole thing was the words of Mr.VEL.......
He gives the thread to everyone and says,"Thread is given by everyone.."

Near ACCIDENT

I was travellin down with SATI to a restaurant on the GST road wen a silver coloured MARUTI ZEN hit me from the left....
The regn no. of the ZEN is TN-22-P-1317.........
I chased the vehicle down within 500 mts and then gave the driver nice scoldings.......
He got sorta afraid and shook hands as soon as my voice went up.......
Luckily, my bike didnt even gain a scratch from the hit.......
I was x(.......
How wud u feel wen u get hit by a nasty ****** while ridin on ur new motor????????
Got really pissed off........

Hey I got my new HERO HONDA KARIZMA on 29th of AUGUST(yesterday i.e.).....
It arrived late in the night.......
I rode it for a KM and set out to sleep.....
It was real awesome motor under its seat....
The power and punch for an INDIAN bike is awesome...
But I still miss my good old thumper......

Phew........
The IV was an awesome experience.........
The days just flew away @ the speed of light.......
We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest extent during the tour....
We went to B'lore and visited companies like TVS MOTORS, ASHOK LEYLAND AND KAILASH BODY BUILDERS @ HOSUR and B'LORE>............
We were seen loiterin at M.G.ROAD and BRIGADE ROAD and THE FORUM.........
I went karting on one day and that was my first experience in a kart....
The thrill and feel of a go-kart is simply awesome.......
Really really kewl experience.....
The track was small though......
We were charged some 100.Rs for 7 laps........
Then I purchased some gift articles for my sis and granny.......
And then t-shirts for SATI and myself.......
Got a gift article for SINI too........
And the only thing I didnt like durin the IV was one of my room-mate's behaviour.....
RMK was so stringent and miser that he didnt even buy a single bottle of water duiring the tour....
We were quite pissed off at his attitude......
Wen asked as to wat he was savin the money for, he told us that he was goin to buy a sim card at his own cost,........
And he spent only 200 over the last 5 days..........
And next time, he's definitely not my roommate.......
RRI and HP were my room-mates.........
We had an enjoyable time overall....
And yesterday was awesome fun and koothu........
We had mass-bunked the day's proceedings at college.......
Only RMK ****er went to college today.....
I think he's gonna get banged up tomorrow morning by all of us..........
After returnin from IV, I had lunch and slept off....
Just got up and logged in online and chatted with frnz.......
Now am gonna hear some music and then sleep......
Hafta attend college again from tomorrow.......

Dejected after 2 flunks......

The guys at anna univ ought to be beaten to death.....
I had done both my e-mech and ee papers well and yet they have managed to hand me an arrear in both.....
Damn those burgers.......
I managed decent marks in all other subject but am not satisfied with the marks awarded to me in MATH......
Expectin more than 70 on 80, I got 50 on 80.......
And the internals were lower than I expected them to be......
And as far as pracs were concerned, my marks were above expectations........
Thats it.....
I still haven't told anyone at home and am plannin to do that only from college tomorrow........

Had a helluva time with B4D and JEB(he accompanied me only on 13th).........
And the weekend started on friday itself with me bunking college and goin to a film with 6FR...
Went to see ENGLISHKARAN and came back satisfied after an entertaining session at the theatre.....
The movie was pretty decent with SATHYARAJ doin his usual nayaandi......
Then I returned home and picked my mother up from her office at ANNA SALAI and then chatted online with friends and then I slept off........
Next mornin, I got up and went to BUTT ROAD to see B4D and then went to spencers and freaked out at spencers and then went to SATHYAM and watched ANNIYAN for the 10th time, this time with JEB and co..........
We compelled B4D to see the movie even as he tried to evade away from the movie....
Then we returned home at 8........
Then had some light dinner and slept off after chattin thru' the nite.............
Then on SUNDAY, we had a quiet time....
Did nothin except go out to BUTT ROAD and come back........
Today went in the mornin to BUTT ROAD and met B4D.....
Then from there , went to SATI's place and chatted for 2 hrs without realisin 2 hrs had passed away........
Then B4D left after we had sorted out the plans for the evening....
Then SATI and myself went to HOTEL SAGAR and had a nice lunch.....
The lunch was good and at the same time, affordable....
We had so much, yet were charged only 150.Rs..........
Then from there went to an old friend's house and chatted with him for more than 2 hrs and came to my house at 3-30......
Then browsed online for an hour and then went to JEB's house to chat with him and then BAKU joined us there with B4D........
From there, we went to BEASANT NAGAR BEACH and relaxed for sometime and then went to HOT CHIPS and had some snacks and went to drop B4D at his shop.......
While chatting with him, SINI called me up and I talked over the phone for more than 30 minutes I suppose.......
I find it sorta good wen SINI makes it a point to call me up and spk to me.......
I had earlier called her up askin her mom's availability at home.........
Then I returned home at 8-45 and had a light dinnner and then logged online to chat with GATY and friends........

Then I logged in online and ever since have been chattin.......

Major Blunder.....

I created a major fault on the sunday that went....
I went till SINI's house gates and came back without wishin her for FRNDSHIP DAY......
The next-day, SATI had called her up and she had asked him somethin I think....
He told me this yesterday and I tried callin her up but noone picked up the fone and so I decided to call her today...
Then I called up B4D and spoke to him for 20 mins......
He is comin to CHENNAI this saturday in all probability.......
And its all set to rock with BAKU and JEB also comin.......
So I am havin an hectic time this weekend.......
Am bunkin tomorrow to make it 4 days of splendid time at home........
Hafta go for a shave tomorrow though in the mornin.......
Then have a appointment with 6FR..........
Goin to SATHYAM to watch a movie...
Then return home in the evenin and roam around with SATI.....
Then have to go to pick B4D at the station in the nite and return home.....

For the first time in my short stint so far at the well renowned vetti prison,I have secured good marks in the CATS.........
Dont think too high of the CATS I'm spkin bout over here.
Its the abbreviation for Continuous Assessment Test Series
And I've managed to score above 30/40 in all......
And forget of the CATS for now.
We mechies are goin for an IV to B'LORE on the 18th and returnin on 23rd.
So iz gonna b good fun out in B'lore....
And I was a bit hesitant about goin to B'lore coz of some personal reasons but there was every reason as to why I shud go.
So I decided to go to B'lore.
I am supposed to pay the amount by tomorrow, which I will do.
We are leavin along with the CSE and IT students of our college.

I've done my CATS till now in an impressive manner.....
I've not sat in the hall for more than 20 mins...........
However those were eziest questions that cud have been asked......
I witnessed an accident right under my nose.......
Both the rider and the pillion were dead on spot.........
From then on I've been reducin my velocity...........
And then I spoke with SINI on saturday for 2 hrs(approx) and then wished VADI on her b'dae and then went to play pool with gaty........
Then sterday I returned home at around 9.....
Today mornin I dropped my sis at skool and took my mom to the doc and thne went to SINI's house to get her MATH book........
Returned home and now hafta go back to pick my sis up from skool at 3..........
Tomorrow we have flu mech and edc.........
Both are very easy and I'm tryin to make 30+ in all CATS this time around.......
Lets see wat happens........

I bunked college today coz I didnt feel like going to the college and in the mornin I went to T.NAGAR to buy books and then went to KILPAUK to get tix at ABHIRAMI for ULLAM KETKUME...
I went with BAKU and then we came back and I slept at my house and then started at 2-30 for the film and returned home at 7.
Then I browsed the net and played F-1 on my comp and then slept off.....
I dont think anythin much is lined up for the weekend.....
And due to the one day xtra off I took, I dont get a 100% attendance any more.......

Today was an expectedly long day and boring day at college...
We had our EDC lab today and I hadn't got my obse signed from KTA and so I was roamin here and there to get her signature.....
The first hour, we had to go to the workshop and sit there....
I dcided against it and went to the EEE dpet to get the sign and my bad luck, KTA was unavailable.
I went to the lab and gave attendance and went back to get the sign and she still wasn't back...
So I returned to the class and found that the sir had already come and he didnt let us in
So I walked away rite in front of his nose........
Then I went again to see whether she was back and she wasn't......
So I returned to the class and attended EDC and THERMO class and had lunch and rushed to the lab to get her sign and she told me that u can get it in the lab itself.....
Then I went inside the lab and got the obse and record signed....
And my record was the only one that KTA signed till date.......

The days have been full of hard work and rough toil in the last 2 days and I haven't been able to set foot outside my house after I returned from college...
I have had to complete my FLU MECH obse and also my EDC obse.....
And also the records for both....
Its been a hard day and on tuesday, I had my FLU MECH lab and did an expt on the PELTON WHEEL TURBINE.......
It was the eziest xperiment I had ever done till date in college.......
We had to set an inlet pressure head and then add weights to the brake drum and find the RPM usin a digital tachometer and calculate the efficiency and then drawa a couple of graphs.....
I finished it all up in the class itself until I figured out that one of the graphs were wrong.....
Then I had my MT-2 lab today and we had to do CYLINDRICAL GRINDIN.....
Myself and RMK had already flopped the previous experiment....
P.S.) We had nothin to do with the flop show, it was the machine fault as the magnet wasn't as strong as its suppposed to be....
Actually the sir targeted us both for it and gave some scoldin.......
And ever since he's been eyein us both for any further mistakes from our side.......
Then we worked on the lathe after a long time gap and were almost at ease with the machine exceopt for a few glitches here and there.........
And at the end of the class , we were expectin our manuals wen suddenly RB got tensed and started shoutin for no fault of us and denied us of the manuals and said that we were supposed to write our own procedures and stufff in the obse.......
Man does he make us curse him behind the scenes.........
Tomorrow maybe I can roam around with my friends coz there is no way I'm gonna have any work to do tomorrow as we have no lab on FRI........
Phew!!!!!!!!!!
And there was a class committee meetin not to mention which onlty managed to kill our limited time available after coll hours..........
Hopin that tomorrow we'll b able to attend EDC lab coz we haven't got our obse corrected b4 the lab..........

Long time of non-stressful days come to end....

I havent been postin for long time now coz there has been nothin that I felt important to post....
My daily routine was get up at 6-30 go to the bus stop at 7-30 and reach coll by 8-40 and then rock the place up at college and then come back home by 5 and then go out with BAKU and SATI...
I bought 2 cargos for 1500.Rs.......
Then we went to see DUS at mayajaal this saturday in my M800......
Had a nice time at mayajaal less B4D..
I really miss him a lot out here at CHENNAI>.........
He's such a joy and superb person to be with all the time.........
Can't really enjoy myself without him.....
He's been thru my ruf and smooth patches rite from the time he was known to me from 7th grade on.......
I went to a friend's house for a small party...
Enjoyed myself thoroughly and then came back home and did some pastin work in my FLU MECH LAB OBS............
Its damn bad that we have three lab days one after another and we are forced to wear KHAKHIS on all three days.......
Damn the management......
Its really really bad and we have to wear KHAKHIS even to the ELECTRICAL LAB........
Wen even EEE guys dont wear KHAKHIS to their own labs why the hell must we wear.....
SO we have made a complaint regardin this to the HOD in the reps meetin.......
Hope the EEE guys will b made to wear the KHAKHIS from next week on.......
We are so very excited.......
But then from this week the work load will definitely get more as we hafta do our records in time........
And also our obs at the same time....
So its pretty messed up.....
The only thing we have to cheer about is the time-table layout.....
Its laid-out in such a way that all hours on monday & fridays are bunkable.....
So u want xtra hols u can make mons and fris count...........

For the last couple of days even though my activities have been restricted to sittin in front of the comp and chattin and browsin, time has been flying away at a rapid pace...........
Its been like I've jus been with JEB and B4D at the theatre and its been 5 days since I had been there actually....
There has been no particular past-time as all my friends are back at college and one named GOR is lying back home havin damaged his ligaments in his leg.....
Actually the thing is that we had returned from SPENCERS and JEB,SATI,B4D and I were playin cricket and this guy left sayin that he was feelin tired and so he went and in 10 mins time I got a call sayin whr can I get tincture....
I asked him why the hell do u need tincture?
He told me," Dai keezha uzhunditen da..Domnics kitta irukken da... Konjam seekarama Variya...."
I told,"Dho Varen da angaye iru..."

Then on sunday I have to find some activity to spend my last day of my vacation and then go to college on monday.............
We will b joined at college by EEE and the ECE dept............

Freaky re-openin set for college.....

A near stupid decision has been taken w.r.t. the college reopenin dates as the depts have been seperated into two groups and there are different working days for the 2 groups...
And I've been unfortunate to have been on the unlucky side having worked for more than wat the other group had done, we end up going to colelge first and the worst part is that its planned to keep it this way till the end of this semester and so all the outings and fun we had during the last year has been spoiled.....
And the one instrumental has been the new man at the top as principal of the college.....
And most of us students are not ready to accept this each batch unlucky on its own part as one will work on all saturdays and the other will work on mondays wen the others are back home enjoyin...
The plan must be made same for both the groups and the groups must b unified and the working days must be synchronised....
Wat this system does is that it puts more work-load on the professors and lecturers as they have to come to college on 6 days as compared to the 5 they usually have to come....
This is sorta like showing partiality to one group when comparin the other one's priveleges and freedom.
I would rather recommend a working days as tues to saturday instead of the present mon-fri workin for this sem alone as it helps a lot in miscellaneous activities and in goin to cinemas to watch movies........

Schumi Wins admist tyre fiasco.....

The german driver is back to winning ways at the INDIANAPOLIS GP with all the 7 teams running on MICHELINS pulled out due to concerns over the reliability over the tyre after RALF and ZONTA sufferred tyre failures leadin to crashes at turn 12/13 at the circuit approachin the main straight.......
There were 6 starters and the FERRARIS occupied the top two steps of the podium while the final podium position was grabbed by protuguese driver MONTIERO of JORDAN.......
Indian KARTHIKEYAN missed the podium position by finishin 4th behind his jordan team-mate, TIEGO.....
The fans were utterly disappointed at the pull out of the 7 teams and started leavin the track before the race started and there were boos at the circuit during the race and beer cans were flyin on to the track and SCHUMI recieved his trophy admist cheers of boos from the crowd.....
The bridgestones have proved to be atleast once better than their counterparts, MICHELINS on grounds of reliability and safety.......
KUDOS TO BRIDGESTONE AND FERRARI..........

JEB & B4D are leavin CHENNAI today and so the most enjoyable times are over atleast for this semester.
I have to look at alternatives to wile away my time usefully or waste them in a not so boring manner.
Maybe I'll go out with my college friends and do my best to somehow use the time available.......
Till now the moments shared with JEB & B4D were most cherishable.
The enjoyment and pleasure which I acquire when they are around is really not explainable in words.
Yesterday we had dinner together at MRC.
We played almost everyday near my old residence and then had juices and went to SATI's house and chatted for hours together and those moments were totally unforgettable.......
I wish I were in the same college as they are.
How wonderful and enjoyable it would have been to be in their company all throughout......
But then past is past and nothin can be done by brooding over the past.
I think that we must be able to go to UDHAGAMANDALAM durin the 4th sem holidays together.
That's been in the pipeline for a year now and is poised to be executed by next year.
I hope that plan doesn't flop all together.......
Then today I'm slated to drop B4D at the railway station and bid bubye to JEB and B4D for the time-being...........

The holidays after the sem exams are proving to be quite enjoyable to say the least.
The times I spent on the preparation will not prove to be as useful as I think it should be due to the guys at the univ.
The hols so far(4) days have gone in a blink of an eye and so do I think of the remaining 13 days.
I somehow managed to convince my dad into buyin me a new HHK.
I had gone to TIRUMALA on the 11th of this inst. with my family.
I drove all the way to TIRUPATHI and then I handed the wheels to my dad to take her up the hill.
It was bcoz the sun had set long time back and it was dark.
Then I worshipped the diety and then I started from the hill at 9-45 I guess.
Then rode the way to TIRUCHANOOR and went to the temple there and then drove back home in some 3 hours.
Then went to play cricket immediately and then came back home at 9.......
The next day, we went for a film and then I dont quite remember much.......

The exams have gone away quite peacefully till now and I've managed to do most of them satisfactorily...
But some of those exams like CHEMISTRY which I really really don't fare well at were quite disappointing despite my best efforts to rectify those age-old mistakes and blunders I create during that particular exam.......
It has played dearly with my efforts and life.........
It played wen I was in +2 then in the first semester pracs and theory........
Then I did MAX perfectly to my expectations this time........
I did my E_MECH quite okay but not to my expectations.......
I commited some unforced errors in it but I feel I'll score well anyway....
Afterall this is just college and not a matter of me suicidin myself or others murderin and marauding me to death...........
Probably tomorrow will be a challenge to my electrical talents as it is pretty dry and difficult to understand wat the author is tryin to say.........
Not for the car buffs I guess.......
Maybe its easy for those EEE minds...........

An unfinished business left down to be completed

The exams have almost drawn to a close but then I'm in the department which I claim as the King Of the Departments in the Engineeering field.........
MECHANICAL..........
I have to appear for an extra exam on a day wen the others wud be busy wasting their time at their natives or even back home or with those useless partners who are not of their ilk........
So I feel it more straining to be studyin even on the day before the exam.....
And I dont think exams judge who you are or wat you are capable of.....
Its ok for the profs if u spend time at the college wanderin around and busy putting groundnuts with a guy/gal who is another one of those who dusnt care to attend classes.......
I will definitely scrap off exams off the list once I take up EBG's place at ANNA UNIV..........
This will definitely get an instant approval from the students community............
But the undeterred parent community will definitely not encourage this one......
And this is utter nonsense coz the parents themselves were students in the past........
They know wat it feels like to go around writing exams and to wait for a month or two to know whether you have passed/failed......
Failure takes some casualities along when some of those who are mentally not so strong enough try to make the better of their opportunity to MURDER themselves.........
=))
But wat I would rather suggest is a system where each student is required to have completed atleast 2 projects a year during his graduation.............
He must be sent to present papers at the intra-college level atleast if not at the inter-college level.
This will certainly boost up the practical and technical applicational knowledge of the engineer.......
As of now very few engineers can do everythin themselves...
They require someone to be along side them so that they can do a job........
This certainly isn't good for the engineering society.......
You must be like you design somethin and then share others opinions on it........
It must be a thing which is more of your own view rather than someone else's view on the thing...........
I know that I've gone from the north pole to the south pole regarding the topic..........
I quite can't remember wat I was talkin or should I say blaberring about...........

This column is for the past memories of my adventurous fall.........
May 22, 2002
I was supposed to go to the computer classes at 10....

I took my sis along with me on my TVS XL and went and attended the classes.....
My classes got over at 11 and so I came home, had my lunch and went back to pick my sis up..
While returning, my sis and I had a drink and I dropped her at my house and went back for a joy ride........
I went all the way round the MILITARY campus and while nearin the EB, a stupid thought struck me.....
Why not drive the bike X.?
So I decided to try the trick........
I had already once failed to pull it out..........
That time, I had managed to avoid a fall but now I cudn't stop myself fallin off from my bike......
I bruised my hand badly and broke 2 of my teeth.......
Then I drove back the bike without any assistance .............
My dad and gran went on questioning as to whether somebody knocked me off my bike......
Then I was admitted to BALAG HOSPITAL for treatment........
I had a CT-scan and was in the ICU for a day.......
I was discharged after 2 days of treatment and was advised not to go out for a week so that the injury cud heal well...............
Only SATI managed to come to see me at the HOSPITAL...............
Then wen the board results were announced, the awesome threesome of B4D,JP,DAR came to check how my results had come out.......
I was busy watching ACTIVE STEALTH, a nice action packed movie..........
They were completely surprised to see me in this fashion........
No1 thought I wud fall down coz I was an excellent driver..............
Thats not an exaggeration, mind u..........
But then noone cud deter FATE from striking its fatal blows now and then............
I consider that I handed the FATE its victim by thinking too adventerously.............
P.S.::::::::::: The bike wasnt damaged in the accident though...........

Hello......
I started the day at 6 and then started my studying at around 10.......
I took up CHEM today as I wanted to score heavily in it..
This time around in CHEM, we have only theory covering a bulk of the syllabi....
I managed to finish 2 chapters and am planning to finish 3 more tomorrow.
The main thing was that I am confident in those 2 chapters now.
Unlike in last semster where I didnt care to study berfore the day of exam, this time around, I have decided to have a good revision before the examination.
;-)
Then I stopped my preparation at 5 and went along with JEB to meet B4D.
There B4D was craving to meet X at my old apts. but that was strongly oppposed by me.
But then I wanted him to be pleased and so I took him there and he went in to call X.
But X had just left out on a bike with Y for buying petrol for X's bike.
X showed a 'tata' to B4D and B4D was livid with himself for having thought of speakin to X.
I then started tellin him that he was a total waste and so was X.......
Then B4D was tellin me of his COMPUTER prowess and so I decided to test his skills with a easy program.
I asked him a program to add two numbers.
And he recited the following thing to me......

And wat amuses me is that he was a CS student in our skool..........

Then we went back to B4D's shop and from there, went to withdraw some cash from SBoI,GUINDY........
Over there, there was no cash and so we went to ASHOK PILLAR and withdrew money and came back.
We came back and JEB and myself took leave from there and I dropped JEB at his residence and came back home at 9...........
Then I came online and sent some mails and cards.........
After that I browsed the net and slept at 12.........

JEB & B4D arrive for some fun while we await some serious moments...

JEB & B4D arrived early this morning after their semesters ended on time while its not the case for us....
Ours is way off schedule and is to start only by this month end and finish on JUNE10........
But then I can't let the fun and frolicky times with JEB to slip off....
At the same time, I have to ensure that I dont ignore my studies either.....
This way, I have to plan carefully, each move I make and each thing I do...........
The only way to satisfy both myself and JEB would be to prepare in the mornings and the nights and spend the evenings with JEB & B4D..........
I went for a hair-do and a shave......
At last, I have managed to cut my hair to satisfy the cold that has been with me for most of the last year......
I dont quite remember wen I caught the cold and I dont know wen it'll die off..............
Lets hope for the best.....

Wow! Finished 3 chapters in MAX......

Hell yeah........
I was in no mood to waste time without finishin a quota in MAX......
And I executed the plan to perfection, not wasting much time on unwanted activities......
Then wat I did was put my heasd down to work out some MAX my way.....
And my way is not to let any thought of complacency and over-confidence creep up.....
I just went about executing each problem with a target in mind, to score full marks in my semester......
This I will surely achieve this semster after a dismal mark-scoring spree in the last semester....
And my confidence levels are way too high this time around after scoring a perfect 40 in my last-cat leading to the semester......
So am not trying to be complacent...........
Then I tried downloading NFSU2 but wat happened was at night as soon as I switched my VDU off, the download seemed to have stopped........
:-(
Then I let the idea off and cancelled the download.........
I fininshed off the 3 chapters by evening and then on had been watchin TV and whiling away my time.........
Afterwards, I continued reading SONS OF FORTUNE by JEFFREY ARCHER...........
I slept off at 11-30........

Hello.....
I had got the permission from my DAD to take the car to college so as to enable me to return sooneer than usual and so I took the car to college........
I started at my house at 7-45 and reached college by 8-25........
On my way, I swerved and cut between vehicles treading the same path and I was closely led by an ACCENT........
Then I wrote my MANU cat satisfactorily and then came out and went to attend E_MECH class....
I had two hours of E_MECH and then I left college.......
Not before the AHOD came in the picture once more........
He refused to sign our out-passes and he took his own time to call us in to sign it...........
All of us were cursing this beggar for not signing it immediately...........
Then he signed it and I returned back along with HP and RMK..........
I started at the college at 12-40 and reached home by 1-30..........
Then I slept off after having my lunch.......
I was damn tired after the journey..

Then wat i did was have dinner and came online and chatted with SINI..........

And this sunday was just like the latter type........
The day started off early wen I got up at 6 and had a bath and then I read the newspaper till I could find no more news and then I saw TV2 and then thought of studying MAX but it was not to be..........
I had lunch and slept off till 6...........
Then I woke up hasitly and then washed my face up and enlightened myself to some good MU6...
Then I chatted online and then played pool and slept off at 11...........

I went to college and wrote my EE exams and came back........
After finishing my exam, I relised that we didn't have any more classes for the day and so all our dept. students went to the Acting HOD's room and tried to get his signature.....
That guy was so stern on signing it that he asked for the portions completed slip from the professors in-charge...........
Then we managed to get the signature after an hour's struggle...........
Then HP and myself came back by bus and then I had a nice sleep for 4 hours..........
Then I went to the temple with SATI and then went to meet TSK and came back home at 9.......
Then I chatted online and slept at around 11-30..........

A perfect 40 at last....And at the right time.....

Hello..
For the past few days, I've been very busy with my preparations for the CAT-III exams......
I had MAX first up and I did it extremely well and in rapid time.........
I was the first one to complete it in 10 minutes.....
Then the next day, we had E_MECH and that was also easy but I didn't manage to do it as well as TV expected me to do it........
I recieved my MAX paper and I got a perfect 40 in it for the first time since joining the college..
I was very excited.........
Then next was ENG and that was more like a discussion class with everyone asking the neighbour some doubts and so it was a walk-through as well..........
I have been managing to finish all the exams within 15 minutes at the most.......
Then later in the day, I got my E_MECH and got a low 24 in it.......
I was totally upset over it as I consider MAX,E_MECH as my strong points this semester....
Then the class was empty that day and some 12 of our dept students were caught for tryin to escape in the buses assigned to do duty for the seniors who were havin their semsters......
I bunked the last 3 hrs of classes for fun........
Then the next day, it was quite a scary moment as the HOD came to our class and gave a talk on how not to behave as engineers.....
The HOD also gave a serious talk to all those who had been bunkin classes after attending CAT...
Then we had normal college and so had a boring day.......
Then today, we had our CHEM exam and I managed to finish the exam some 30 before actual close.....
That is in 10 mins...........
Then I came back to class and we had no other hour for the rest of the day, except for our lab classes...........
I cut my finger during doing SHEET METAL FABRICATION............
Then I came back home at 5 and then slept off.........
Then I studied for my EE exam tomorrow and then I browsed online......
For the last 2 days, I have downloaded some 175 MB of somgs from the net..............

Hello........
Today's blog title is associated with the film ANNIYAN.......
The song with the post title is the best song in the album as far as I have heard.........
The next song which runs it close is KAADHAL YAANAI............
SO today, I got up at round about 7 and checked the newspaper and found out that our college had been placed 16th among the colleges under ANNA-UNIV based on the results of I,II,III&IV year results for the whole year............
Then I had oil-bath at 9-30 and then came and chatted with SATI over messages and then chatted online with ABK,PAKU and played pool at
SHOCKWAVE.COM....
Then I had my lunch and took my MAX book to work out some problems but it was a dull thing to do at 2 in the afternoon and so put it aside and started to do some maintenance work on my comp........
SINI had called me up at round 11-30 for rectifying some problem on her comp and so gave her the procedure to correct it and then she thanked me and I placed the phone down..........
In the evening, I watched a good full-fletched comedy movie starring VIJAY on a leading TV2 channel............
Then I came to my comp and started a scan..........
Yesterday I had detected 11 viruses and so I decided to give it a second checking.......
Then after that, I had a dull evenin with nothin to do and so I worked out some problems in MAX.........
I completed the 2 worksheets given to us and we had effectively only 16 problems which were eligible to be asked in tomorrows CAT-3 exam...............
Now had a small problem with my MODEM and so rectified that problem and logged in online........

Hello........
I went to the beach and no1 was there so I returned back home.........
On my way back, I was caught for travelling at around 64KMS/HR near TEYNAMPET............
Then my vehicle had no INSURANCE,no TAX and moreover I had no LICENSE to top it up......
I was asked to pay a fine of 400.Rs..........
Then I called my DAD up and informed him as to wat happened...........
Then I was let off after some 1hr...............
There,I was spectator to an incident which proved once again that these idiotic cops were dumber than the dumbest...............
The man incharge had infact taken the keys off a BAJAJ PULSAR numbered 3558............
But the guy just sped off his vehicle.......
The man was standing beside a BULLET and he didnt care to take his bike in pursuit..........
How dumber can anyone be??????????????
Then I came back home and slept off..............
Then at around 12-30 or so SINI called me up and asked me as to why I hadn't come online for 2 days...........
Then we talked for 30 mins and then I saw ADHEY KANGAL which had a star cast including RAVICHANDRAN.............
I saw the movie and then had evening snacks and then came online to check mails..........
Now from today, my bike is gonna be let to stand-still...........
NO WAY OUT........................

Hello.....
We had to do our models today........
I went to college and we had 2 continuous hours of MAX first-up.......
Then after that we were supposed to go to the LAB to do our models and also practice some expts.....
So we left class at 10-40 and then didnt return to the class after that........
I went to the CS lab to get the obse&rec corrected from KANA.......
I actually hadn't attended the classes and still I managed to get a perfect 10 for all the expts....
This was actually not given even to the students who attended class.......
They all might be furious with me..........
Who cares.............
But then she had some other plans in mind..........
She asks me to write an algorithm of 4 lines for a single line program.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How the hell can I do that???????????????
So I told her I'll give the rec by tues and she agreed.............
In the models, I got the foundry shop and it was a cake-walk..........
I had to prepare a mould for a CRANK.........
I finished the work very soon and then gave off the paper........
I had a short VIVA by KMN...........
I finshed that in no time........
Then I was bz freely chattin with my friends..........
Then I returned home and went to the temple with HP..........
Then from there, we went to MIKE's place and from there, we went to have a small snack and had that and HP left via TARAMANI............
Then MIKE and myself went to GATY's house and chatted for about an hour and then I returned back home at 9-30........
Had my dinner and then played pool with GATY online through the night...............
I managed to sleep at 12-10.............

Hello........
I got up a bit late and then went to college by 8-25........
Then I sat down in class and got the observations for CS lab...........
Then I sat down in class.......
We effectively had 3HRS of E_MECH and then 2 hrs of MAX and a 56 hour and a wat was the remaining hour.Can't quite remember wat that hour was.........
Then it was actually good and bad sitting in the E_MECH class for 3 hrs...........
Then I returned home and then had a heavy workload........
Had to finish my CS obs&record and then also the MANU lab rec&obse...............
I also had to prepare for my model practicals............
I managed to finish off my CS obse and rec by 9-30 and then decided to skip the MANU work.........
Then I slept off..........

Hello.........
Today was supposed to be the dumbest day in the week..........
In the morning, I got a mess from HP that he wasn't comin to coll...........
He bunks coll now and then........
I guess his attendance will be somewhere around 85%......
I went to the coll by bus and reached coll by 8-30........
Then I went to the 1st floor to have a conversation with my frenz.....
Then I attended classes.......
The first 2 hrs were dumb.......
The 3rd one was dumber till the very end......
But we managed to get somethings outta RINDRAN...........
Then went to have lunch and then I went back to class and 56 prof told us that we had another hour of 56 instead of the MAX hr............
And the CHEM dept. MAX portions hv been completed............
We still hv some 1.2 chapters to finish...........
Then we had EE followed by 56 and both the hrs were equally dumb...........
All of us MECH students were sleeping during the 56 hour...........
Then we had DOSON's ENG hr..........
We had a discussion class as to whether ATTENDANCE MUST BE MADE COMPULSORY OR NOT...............
Then I returned home at 5.........
Had some snacks and then watched TV before comin online and chattin with PAKU,GATY,ABI,RIS............
Then played pool with GATY and then slept at 11..........

APRIL 26::::::::::
My tummy wasn't in the best of shapes and it gave way late in the morning...............
So I bunked college today...........
I got up at only around 10....................

Hello...
Plans of going to the beach were already torn apart by all the guys.....
So had to think of some other alternative to spend the time....
We already had a PLAN-B in place and that was to go for HITCH...........
And we went there, and didnt get tix....
So we dcided to go to spencers........
SAG,BAGGY,KRV,HP & myself went there and got to the 3rd phase and went to SUBWAY......
Its a restaurant like thing in SPENC.....
We went and had some bun thing and we were charged so much that it burnt a hole in our purses..
So we weren't satisfied with our tummies.......
So we went to FOOD-COURT and waited for 30 mins to get a table.......
This was all bcoz a girl was eating or must I say licking a piece of BLACK-FOREST for 30 mins......
We had gone to the extent of going and dragging her off her place and sayin,"This is not the way u eat the BLACK-FOREST."
But we refrained away from it........
Then we had FRANKIES at down to earth prices.........
We had 2 each and then followed it up with an ice-cream.........
Yummy.......We spent only 246.Rs for 6 PANEER FRANKIES,2 TRIPLE SCOOPS,1 BUTTERSCOTCH SHAKE.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But earlier, we spent some 260 odd Rs. for nothin worth mentioning......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then we left SPENS...........
I reached back home in 10 mins from ANNA-SALAI and then slept off..........

hello....
Today mornin, I went to the beach to play cricket.....
To my surprise I found no1 except CKR there........
So we called 6FR up and asked him to come........
Then after MK came, we came off from there without informin 6FR...........
Then I had oil bath and then I had lunch and started for MUMBAI XPRESS.......
6FR and myslef reached there 5 mins b4 showtime........
And managed to get tix for the movie at SATHYAM........
The theatre was damn empty........
Atleast the SC was empty..........
We had a SAMOSA and a PEPSI during the interval and 6FR got scolding from a girl for unknowingly touchin her wen the crowd were pushin............
=))
Then the movie was very very nice and I liked it a lot.........
The comedy was the main factor in it and SAGALAKALA VALLAVAN is very good at it.......
He has penned the dialogues for the movie himself..........
And the dialogues are good.........
But the editing is the one which drags it back..........
There is a particular scene where DADU(A char in the film) tries to suicide from a some 15-storey building and when they show AHALYA(MANISHA KOIRALA) speakin, the ground seems to be too close for it to be a shot from a 15-storey building........
Then there are these scenes when KAMAL drives the bike inside the tunnel..........
There, the bike's back wheel doesnt seem to be touching the ground(wall) at all and is in mid-air....
That is bcoz its just cut-paste works.........
Then at one instance, when KAMAL is in MUMBAI, they show scenes of him driving the bike in CHENNAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There needs to be an improvement in editing films.........
Then I came back home and slept off........
I slept from 4 to 7-10...............
Then I saw JJ for sometime...........
Then had my dinner and organized a match at the beach, tomorrow morning..........
Then I chatted with JEB's DAD and also spoke to JEB over the phone............
Now PAKU is online so am gonna spk to him............

The guys at ANNA UNIV are fools and they have proved it once again...........
They had given me an arrear mark in the results..
And now after the revaluation results are out, they have given me a pass mark!!!!!
Why can't these dumb idiots do this before I apply for revals????????
If they are more targeted at the 400.Rs they collect for revals, let them get that in advance of the sem registration fee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont know wat to tell them......
As this is a decent blog, I dont want to use bad words here...!!!!!!!!

Then REDDYGARU failed in MAX..........
Almost all my friends who applied for revals cleared their arrears...........

I got up at around 6-15 and then went to have bath....
And mid-way thru' my bath, I decided to bunk college for no reason........
I told my mom and dad that I wasn't going and watched TV2 for sometime and then went to the old house to get my CRICKET KIT back.....
Then I came online and downloaded some songs and searched for UNIX software in vain........
Then I played NBA-2003 LIVE........
Then I had my lunch and went to the AIRPORT along with my dad to recieve my aunt who came from DELHI..........
Then came back home and had JACK-FRUIT........
Then got bored again and switched on the comp and played pool........
Then today evenin, I'm going for the movie, CHANDRAMUKHI again with my family......
So will be late back home today also...............

Hello...
Today I got up at around 6-10 and then got ready for college by 7...
My dad dropped me by the bus-stand and then I reached college at 8-26.....
Then I went up and had a chat with MIKE,6FR,PROF and CKR.......
Then I attended classes.....
Today was scheduled to be a dull and boring day as we had 2 hrs each of MANU & MAX......
Then we somehow managed to spend the time sleeping.....
HP hadn't come today and SINI also hadn't come....
Its been 3 days since she came to college...
And she is not one who bunks college for no reason except when she's ill or when she has to study...
Then I decided to confirm with MK whether she hadn't come to coll....
Then he walked up during the 1-45 break and told me that SINI had been hospitalised...
I was really angry on SINI then bcoz she hadn't told me that she was hospitalised...
I called her up in the evenin from the bus-stop and was speakin with her over the phone wen SAG came up and started irritatiing me...
I got tensed up and by sheer reactions, I swerved to the left and along with it, my hand also travelled and hit him right on the face...
'His glass flew and he got tensed up......
I told SINI that I'd talk to her later and hung-up.....
Then I boarded the bus and we damn irritated REDDYGARU.........
He got tensed and tried to hit back at us but it was not fruitful....
Then I returned home at 5 as usual and then refreshed myself up.....
Then I started to write my WS record and obse......
My dad came up and told that we were going out for dinner and I said that I mite not be able to come and he said it was ok..And that he'd wait for me to finish m work...
Only less amt of work was pending and that was completed in some 30 mins and we went to ARUNA INN at 8........
We had our dinner in RED-FORT at ARUNA INN..........
Before I left, SINI called me up and asked as to what I had got for pracs and I told her all possibilities.........
Then also enquired her as to wat had happened to her...
She told me that she had been affected by food-poisoning due to eating at a place with her friends...
Then I told her to take care and hung-up............
Then after finishing my dinner, I came back home at 11..........
Then I slept at 12..............

Hello..
Today being a tuesday,we had CS pracs and I had not prepared for the exam.....
But then CS pracs depend on how the individual is able to guess the logic of the program and the syntax being known its a cake-walk for anyone....
We had to pick from a lot and I had my share of luck...
I picked up a sheet which was differently coloured and then saw that all the programs were from the ones which we had for pracs classes....
Then even in that, 2 of them were somewhat same and so I did one program and then copied that onto the other and added jus a simple if statement and finished it off....
The programs given were CHARACTER REPLACEMENT, REVERSING STRINGS........
These were to be done using SHELL PROGRAMMING......
Then I got SUM OF DIGITS in C and did that ezily without any worries,...
Then I finished the VIVA in some 2 mins and escaped from there in 1 hr....
Then I came back to the class and went to pay the fees at 11-20 for my SEM and then had lunch...
Then we had classes as usual......
Then I returned home at 5...
I hadn't seen SINI in the coll today...
Then I refreshed myself up and was watching TV2 and my dad called me out for dinner to the MCC(Madras Cricket Club)......
Then I returned home at 11-30 in the night and slept at midnight.....

A Near Miss At A Traffic Junction

Well today was supposed to be a torrid time considering that I had to stay back and finish off my remaining CS programmes..........
But then I had other plans in my mind to dodge KEK and get my obs and record signed.......
I went to get 'em signed during the EE class and got them successfully corrected...
She asked me whether I had any doubts and I said,"I have no doubts but I want to know wat this means.!"
She explained them and let me off........
I came back to the class and the students were bz dodging PENTAGON as he had lost the papers for CAT and got a pass mark after being granted some 3/5 originally..........
Then we got out 56,MAX papers and with that all my papers are out and I have managed a decent 75% or thereabouts.......
Then I came back home at 5 and then went with my DAD to the AIRPORT in the LANCER and it was pleasure being in its driver's seat after a long-long time............
Then wen I was returnin, near the MILITARY HOSPITAL, a dreaded thing almost occurred....
A TVS VICTOR came in my way suddenly out of nowhere and I had to brake real hard to avoid it and also my vehicle's battery was down.....
So I had to brake in such a way that my vehicle didn't stall and so swerved to the right and avoided him successfully...........
Then I returned home and then went out to change the battery and had dinner outside........
Now my vehicle sports a SF LESS-MAINTENANCE BATTERY..........
In my views, SF is the best battery manufacture till now........
Then had dinner and came back home at 9..........
I have a model practicals scheduled for tomorrow..........
And that is damn ez considering its only from SHELL PROGRAMMING & C-PROGRAM...............

Hello...
This is after the INDIANS failed to put up a fight in the final ODI against PAKISTAN....
Forget all the action on the field shown on the tube....
I got up late at around 7-30......
Then I read thru' the newspaper and my DAD had arrived early mornin for some reason....
Then I had a spl. oil massage and sat down for 30 mins and went to have a head-bath and then came back to see the dreaded match....
Then I saw the match and at 3-40 got bored and dissapointed at the performance and then I switched on the comp and have been checkin mails since....
Then I went to have snack and came back....
Today being RAM-NAVAMMI, I had spl. lunch......
Today evenin I mite go out for dinner coz my DAD's in-station.......
