| Lap No60 The German supporters get to their feet at the Nurburgring, as the home-hero Michael Schumacher stamps Ferrari's return to title contention with back-to-back victories in Europe, clearly ending Renault's domination over the early part of the 2006 season. Alonso, though disappointed with second place - will be happy at being able to collect eight points here, as he did at Imola two weeks ago. Massa, having fought off the Raikkonen challenge for third place, makes it a double-podium for Ferrari, registering his first career podium spot in the bargain. It was a sensational race to say the least! The Championship is now wide open and with 13 races to go, there are several drivers and teams emerging as strong hopefuls for motor sport's crowning glory. | ||
