Man 2day, I was to meet GOR in the afternoon.....
So I did.......But we ran short of ideas of spending the time.......
We finally decided to give the new TVS APACHE a test-run.....
So we proceeded to TVS RAMKAY MOTORS in ADYAR......
Entered the showroom and the guy was benovelent enuf to ask us whether we wanted a test-drive........
Wy wud we say no.....So we took the test......
I revved the bike to the max right from the start.......
The exhaust note was awesome.......And the pick-up even better........The bike zoomed.......
I even wheelied the bike a couple of times.....
GOR who was seated at my bike was not prepared for it both times.......
The front wheel jus lifted off the ground and the vehicle was rok solid.....
I then stopped the vehicle.......
Man if u tot, I was bored drivin this beast, u were wrong.....
I was about to unleash a burst of raw speed......
I sprinted down the road and the vehicle was rooted to the ground.......
It didn't twitch even wen I braked hard.......
A reall winner in TVS' hands.....
Iz gonna be hard-time for the PULSARS and the UNICORNS.....And the advance booking for the APACHE has been growing exponentially.....
I heard that they had recd around 3000 bookings even b4 the bike was released in the market,........
I've got some fotos which I shall duly post in my FOTO BLOG.....
Then stopped near the RAJ BHAVAN TELEPHONE EXCHANGE and chatted wid GOR for 30 mins and then he left......
We didn't have such a gr8 time this time around.........
But the ride was memorable one......
Then I returned home and slept for 3 hrs.....
Got up and watched the last 5 overs of the game, and then went out to get Li batteries for my DIGITAL CALCULATOR which had been abandoned for last 2 yrs or so........
Then got back and watched some TV and now am chattin wid ma frenz and browsin....
2morrow's gonna be the start of the new week and I hope it starts wid a bang.......
